My favourite pizza has no tomato but zucchini, in long ribbons...mmmmmmmmmmm
I do not like ham, crudo or cotto or any thing like that, but can deal with pepperoni.
Prawns and chorizo is my favourite pizza (or as its known in my local restaurant margerita with triple prawns and triple chorizo. 4 prawns in a serving! Ridiculous.
I am also fond of spicy chicken pizza.
I hate deep crust though. Horrible.0 -
Phew!
Not enough characters.
Ironic on this thread.0 -
Lir- yes, thanks
There seemed to be lots of students staying near my ex- end of the metropolitan line too. That was probably the last thing you wanted on the way into work... A carriage of over-excited teenagers
The worst thing on a tube to work is a small family of northern tourists who get on the quiet carriage and comment loudly about his quiet it is, and that no one is talking. Excited teenagers / school children on a day trip is the next worst, followed by a smoking tramp.
The worst thing on the way home is someone else from work who you don't know very well.0 -

Something non-nice on the NPT
I did secretly think that for a minute, too!
Lovingly suggested a contract tender this morning....little do the EBU know that the main intention is lining my pockets with the money of little children here 💙💛 💔0 -

The tramps were always asleep by the time they got to the end of the line. No quiet carriages on the tube which I think makes the excited day trippers top. For added effect they would spread themselves around the carriage so they could sit down (but still need to shout things at each other). Perfect for the 40 or so mins til Baker St.
Edit: worst thing on way home was an event at Wembley stadium0 -
I guess as it is you we will let you off talking furren.lostinrates wrote: »My favourite pizza has no tomato but zucchini, in long ribbons...mmmmmmmmmmm
This is so true - I sometimes have to pretend that I am waiting for a circle/district line in order to avoid this. Sometimes it is also my boss at which point it is the sinking feeling of knowing you have 1hr of 'isnt the company wonderful' small talk to make
The chuggers/rag week/buskers are also far from a barrel of laughs.chewmylegoff wrote: »The worst thing on the way home is someone else from work who you don't know very well.I think....0 -

Pffft tube, train, same difference. In the mornings there is a woman who always gets in the front carriage of the train I get which is a quiet carriage. If any day trippers got on and started making noise they would be basically threatened and told to be quiet. Anyone who even thinks about using a phone is in a lot of trouble! Unfortunately I haven't found out what time train she goes home on yet as I would get that one as well!0 -

Point bring there were no quiet carriages, just varying levels of noise!0 -
Perhaps you could post one of those little messages in the metro?
How about the left standers on escalators, is there anything worse?chewmylegoff wrote: »Pffft tube, train, same difference. See your later posts!PasturesNew wrote: »In the summer holidays, if the weather was sunny, we'd pack up some squash in a bottle and a plastic box of tomato sandwiches... by the time it got to eating them they'd be all soggy - and were fantastic!! I like tomatoes, but I'd not miss them if they were absent in, say, a salad as there'd be other things I like as much/more too.
My dad never ate pizza ... he said it reminded him of one night one of his friends was sick on a pavement and he couldn't entertain the idea of a pizza.
I eat a lot of cheese.... cheap cheddar 99% of the time (£5/Kg). I wouldn't like squidgy cheese or mouldy cheese.....
I think yesterday's meals were: a cheese-topped bap filled with one tomato for lunch - and for tea it was two potatoes steamed in the microwave and topped with cheddar.
There's ascience to this. Tomatoes and bread are mainly polar and cheese is mainly non-polar and should go between them if you wish to maintain distinguishable tastes and textureslostinrates wrote: »Its like zag said about pizza...greater than the sum of its parts. As is peanut butter and banana milkshake and a snack i make called, um......catsick.
I'm convinced that the only reason that pizzas are so expensive/small for the price here is that they waste massive effort and expense producing loads of hawaiian pizzas for Britain's presumably massive hawaiian population.
