Do you think MsK will have to come and give us a slap for starting a second OT thread?
Yes.
I think she will merge them though. But not good of us to make more work. If we let it just be about foot ball she will leave it i think, like the fantasy football ones, but i don't know how others will feel about two threads or ootball here.
Doesn't bother me either way, i just skip football posts.0 -

Of dear, just been face booking with one of our 17 year old Spanish girls. Please everyone remind me I am (a) old enough to be their father and (b) happily married.
I usually find that once anyone under the age of about 25 opens their mouth , the nonsense that comes out instantly dispels any aura of attractiveness. Some secretary sent me a work email (about actual work) with a flipping smiley at the end of it once, I couldn't stand to look at her after that no matter how much she looks like the ginger bird off game of thrones.0 -

There are good roads and ba roads though. For a while for a very annoying reason i used to have to user the a30 to the west from london. Although nice enough for short trips when compared to the a303 its slow. The a 303 has some terrible atretches though, early on and then As you get further down.
I like the idea of history around routes peole ake, major arteries in particular, but it missed stuff i think, that would grab the interest of younger users and getvthem interested in history. I supoose jot many young viewers at that time watching shows about roads.
When I studied my "Higher" English we did Steinbeck and you could argue someof his best work was about roads like route 66!I used to have pizza when I was a child, but we called it Welsh rabbit.Of dear, just been face booking with one of our 17 year old Spanish girls. Michaels, you are (a) old enough to be their father and (b) happily married!:D
I used to live in a suburb where accomodating language students was a massive business. Almost every high street store had a language school above it and the coach parks that brought the students were always busy. The students were told the schools were in London which they were, but only just. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Pizza stops being greater than the sum of its parts when you put third ingredient on it (not including base, cheese, tomato) in my view.0 -

Uhuh, mushrooms are good on a pizza, but ugly.
My favourite pizza has no tomato but zucchini, in long ribbons...mmmmmmmmmmm
I do not like ham, crudo or cotto or any thing like that, but can deal with pepperoni.0 -
Lir- yes, thanks
There seemed to be lots of students staying near my ex- end of the metropolitan line too. That was probably the last thing you wanted on the way into work... A carriage of over-excited teenagers :eek:0
