    It was 100% working. It was a very warm day yesterday, and it would have been stifling in the car.

    Dont take car back who's to say they aint tinkered with it?removed parts etc etc.

    Sold as seen, and also has to match the description given. It'll be worth a punt with moneyclaim online to recover the cost of getting it fixed, particuarly if the garage they use gives them a written report saying it hasn't worked for some time. And they may well do, depending on how much they spend putting it right.

    Thing is, I have a text from them saying it WAS working on the way home as they got too chilly and had to turn it off... So it definitely was working when they left.

    You have nothing to worry about.

    They are trying it on (and saying they will get legal advice is more bluff - if they go and get proper legal advice, then they will be told what (most) people are telling you!

    ie. They have no chance
