TESCO's Hidden price increases

Never said I was condoning it but supermarket's are still taking the !!!!. Doubling the price just for putting something in a bag. And it was poor quality by the sound of it.
Thats business for you. Tesco wouldn't be as successful as they are if they didn't do things like that. Whilst there are people out there who shop without taking into account prices and packaging Tesco and other supermarkets will always profit from it.0 -
MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
Hi sorry first time here don't know how to start a new post re tesco did I check online to plan my weekly shop saw low fat chicken fillets on offerhalf price £6 down to £3 until 5 June. Good offer went to my local store the chicken was there but the £3 price labels had been covered with the yellow stickers they use to reduce items and the label on the fridge says £6. Unfortunately I don't have a camera phone so couldn't take a photo. Don't know anything about consumer law does any one know if this is legal. If you could let me know as going to write to tesco
Why on earth would this not be legal! They have covered up the incorrect price and the correct price is clearly shown as £6. I don't see how this could be misleading in any way.
Also, there is nothing wrong (legally and morally) in charging different prices online and in-store.
I suspect if you write to Tesco about this non-issue it will be filed away, in the bin.0 -
why has this thread been moved to here - it's nothing to do with Consumer Rights!!!0

I'd consider it more appropriate in Praise, Vents forum0
