Buyer not collecting Special Delivery, not responding to messages.

Hi

Im wondering if anyone can advise me on what to do.

I sold a mobile phone on ebay on 14th May, sent Special Delivery on 15th May and delivery was attempted on 16th May. It has now been almost 2 weeks and the buyer has yet to collect the item from the sorting office or rearrange delivery, Ive messaged the buyer through ebay to let them know that delivery was attempted and that the package is waiting for them at the sorting office but im getting no responce.

    Can you phone them.
If your not quick the parcel will be returned to you. I am not sure how long the Delivery office keep it before returning it to sender. You did put your return address on it I hope.

You can get their phone number from ebay & give them a ring,

Has the buyer been active on ebay since you posted?

The buyer was inactive until 27th May when they bought something else.

They have more feedback today from something they bought on 20th May, so I have no clue what they are playing at now. Fingers crossed they answer the phone later.

They dont seem to be leaving feedback for anyone else though.

It could be as simple as they have a keepsafe in place whilst on holiday.
you could schedule a redelivery for the 18th day(last day RM hold SD,RD,tracked and normal packages)

Ive had this happen to me several times on ebay :( and of course ebay withold the payment back from paypal and you loose out on the item and the money as the person says they did not receive it. I often send items now recorded just in case it ever happens again but it is more expensive :(

but then you just offset that by increasing the postage price on the auction?
