Ive had this happen to me several times on ebay :( and of course ebay withold the payment back from paypal and you loose out on the item and the money as the person says they did not receive it. I often send items now recorded just in case it ever happens again but it is more expensive :(

Well I wont really be losing out as after 18 days have passed RM will return the item back to me, but no doubt the buyer will want a refund rather than the item, which means I have the ballache of finding the funds to put back in paypal to refund the buyer, dont usually spend the money till the buyer receives the item but I sold this mobile to buy my husband a new one.

Well ive rung again, someone answered and said the buyer was out and would be back in 30 minutes, 40 minutes later I rung again and now there is no answer.

I cant help but think they have changed their mind and have figured if they dont get the parcel they can claim the refund as INR.

    Update!

Buyer has the phone, she works night, the post woman lives over the road and saved it for her, then took it round when she was home.

So the parcel hasnt been signed for and I have no proof that its been delivered, as far as Royal Mail website says, delivery has been attempted.

I think that the postie could find themselves in hot water for that. Special delivery has to be signed for.

Not only that but delivery was attempted after 1pm too, although thats what it says online.

I just hope that the buyer isnt one of the bad ones and doesnt see it as an opportunity to have the item and the money.
