Is anyone else fed up of thinking about what to make for tea? tonight my wife to be is working a late, leaving me and my two kids in, I am so fed up of trying to come up with new and exciting dishes to make :( I am also fed up of buying hte same old food every time I go shopping. The trouble is I love cooking, but I am not inspired at the moment, I really need to shake myself up and get back to doing what I do best, and that is preparing healthy meals that I actually want to eat. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Maybe a web site with some good cheap, healthy and bloody nice food would really help. :)

    Evening Everyone

Been Mia again the last couple of days. DSD is now staying at her mums and seems much better. It has been my ds2 birthday today, he is 12. He was most upset when originally he found out he would be at school due to change in the half term week, but alas he ended up on a school trip today to the Tower Of London, so he wasn't quite as upset and even admitted he had a good time tonight. We went out for tea to a new restaurant called Wildwood, found a voucher online which meant we got a pizza free and once they found out it was his b/day they gave him a dessert on the house, he was most impressed.

I am starting to seriously look for another job as yesterday there was a fight in the classroom I was working in, it was quite scary.Teacher and I managed to break it up and seperated the pupils so that senior staff could decide what to do with them. I also don't think I am making any difference due to the disruptive behaviour of others in the classroom. I dont remember behaving like this when I was at school. Anyway will keep looking.

Hilstep - Hope you are ok now.
HH - Thats disgraceful that you have to lose that amount of money.
Flutterby - your tests sounded horrible, hope the exercises help.

Sorry If I have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.

hilstep  How lucky that young couple were passing and what a lovely pair to come back to check if you were ok :T I hope that you have taken things easy all day ((((Hugs))))
Hester  £100 pm  That is a big hit on income. It seems like everyone is either losing their job or being put on short time lately, how this government thinks that the sick and disabled will find work is beyond me
marie I hope that you haven't given up hope (((((((Hugs))))))
I managed to get two loads of washing on the line and nearly dried, but I won't leave it out overnight because I think that we will have rain tonight, we need it though, both of my water barrels are empty even though I am allowed to use a hose because I am disabled I won't because I think it is unfair if no one else can, so DS does it by watering can every night for me.
The heat has really got to me tonight, my knees are agony and my hands and legs have swollen up. I have had a shower and am about to go and lie on the sofa with my legs raised. I might just have an early night.
((((((Hugs)))))) to all in need of one, those who are poorlies or MIA's especially JackieG, N9eav, Cranky and the house elf, halight and tired mum you are all conspicuous in your absence :p
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Hello all,

    welcome downnotout.

Hilstep....take care, sounds as if you did quite a bit of damage.

Hester...I am spitting mad on your behalf.....they haven't been paying you a living wage anyway and now to face a huge cut is just incredible....as others have said, check that you are getting all your entitlements.

OH back to consultant this morning at 9...out at 9.20, to go back in a year. Car wouldn't start so had to get emergency breakdown via insurance....wonderful service, called to say how long he would be, started the car straight off and told us how to avoid the problem in future...then they rang me in the afternoon to check that I had been satisfied with service....never thought I'd find myself praising an insurance company, the bu88ers will probably double my premium in December!!

Went to official opening of new Italian restaurant nearby...my third visit in a week....lovely menu all free, just pay for drinks....think that OH may move in with them if they will have him... so no cooking for me to-day.

Have been tidying up in preparation for visit from DD2 and her 2 girls to-morrow, just until Tuesday, had a phone call from DDIL to say that she, DD1 and DGD2 will be here overnight on Saturday, so it will be a busy weekend, but nice to have them all around....DS1 is off to Thailand on business so will not be coming...if I thought that the weather would be nice would have a bbq brunch on Sunday, we'll see.

    BB...thanks for kind thoughts.

Really should be in bed....night all, sleep well and stay safe
