Afternoon all
Hilstep - hope you are ok x
I've been in the hospital all morning have vertigo tests/treatment. They did millions of different tests, including one where they blew hot air in my ear for a minute to see the affect   that one made me soooooo ill! But the good news is that my brain is already compensating for the vertigo, so they have given me some exercises to do which will hopefully help more.
I'm likely to be very tired for rest of day, which isn't great as I'm taking work kids away this afternoon! But I feel ok to drive, and my colleague will take over today. My minibus should be back from the repairers today! They've had it over a month.
So I'll be MIA til Friday. Hoping the sun lasts a bit longer down West for us.
No OS today.
Have a good week

Afternoon everyone, hot, muggy and grey in London- yuck! I've been very busy so far today packing and washing and still lots left to do before OH gets here at 7 but the last load of washing is finally dry.
Thanks to stinking uni I can't start my new job for 6-8 weeks. The workaholic part of my brain has already arranged meetings with agencies and applied to temp jobs, but the other side is suggesting that maybe I should just chill out as it's my last chance for 40-50 years to do so! It would be a good opportunity to visit friends who are now scattered around the UK, get ahead with my OU work and do all the crafty things I've been putting off for ages.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Evening All
Hilstep - look after yourself, (((hugs)))
Hester - hope the news wasn't too bad today.
Much cooler here today, have been out for most of it so not too much done today. Just about to have dinner then off out again to pick up DD from station.
Have a funny day tomorrow, DS is back at the dentist for sedation so wont get much done in the morning - hopefully he will just sleep it off in the afternoon.
Oven is now dinging, have a lovely evening all.x0 -
Thank you for all the good wishes, not good news, I'm losing £100 a month as our duty times are being cut.
Devastating news really, it means I'll have £37 a month to pay for food, clothes, petrol, birthdays, Christmas etc, life is full of joy at the moment.
Hugs Hester

sorry to hear that Hester. There is something very nasty going on in the uk economy and i simpathise--i dont know where it will all end!- i live in Turkey which seems to be seeing rising living standards but a lot of it is due to exports to Europe so it may faulter.
İ have had an extensive day of tests. Mrs De is jumping all over me because the root of all my problems seems my alcohol consumption but how they have concluded this without the necessary blood test being taken i dont know!--its conjecture but i know the real reason but no one listens to me!!( i have a gentic fault in my liver for processing alcohol--but i drink!!!!
İ saw a shrink who was shocked that i was still on so many drugs despite being well for 12 years---i sense this is a major factor in two ways--1 the meds stress my liver and 2 i drink because the meds make me detached from life/emotions--alcohol is quite a common problem in MH medicine !
anyway i have stopped drinking but Mrs De is on the warpath!!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -

Hester - Big hugs to you, don't know what else to say, sorry.
Hillstep - Hope you are feeling calmer now, what a shock for you but good on the young couple for helping out.
FB - That sounds like a horrid experience but hope it has been worth it for you.
I think the last week of good weather has at last worn me out! Been so busy in the garden, etc that I am suddenly exhausted so a restful evening for me, going for a bath soon and then an early night.
Risotto for tea which used up some veg from the fridge, been taking salad and fruit for my lunches and DD has been taking a salad roll. Should be having a visitor tomorrow night so I have dug out some tomato based leftover from the freezer and will add chicken to make fajitas.
Cleaned the bathroom downstairs and given the kitchen sink a good bleaching again, I get worried that the warm weather will make the drains smell. Made up the bed for the visitor and given the room a quick hoover and flick with a duster.
Take care. XX0
