Didn't make any difference regretfully.0 -
Should I try uninstalling, rebooting and installing again to see if that makes any difference?0

You could try Control Panel-Java on the General tab click on the Temporary Files View button and delete any with a northern bank URL. Restart browser and try again.
If that doesn't work try Firefox or Chrome or if you want to increase your banking security search for LPS linux on Google, burn a live cd to use for your ebanking activities.0 -

Didn't work either!0 -
Is Java definitely working on other sites?
Maybe try temporarily disabling your firewall/internet security.
I know for definite LPS Linux works as I use it exclusively for eBanking0 -

Java isn't working on any site on this laptop because I am working on 2 laptops at the moment so I know it isn't a problem with the Northern bank website but rather a problem with the laptop.0 -
