Yes, no problem. They politely explained that the computer shouldn't have let me do this and please just use my avios number in the future.
By the way this problem occurs quite a lot with members that have both accounts.
They never once accused me of fraud and also........
THEY LET ME KEEP THE MILES!!! _party_
Wow, you managed to bypass the 40 minute queue ... Impressive! :rotfl:0 -
I dont need to to justify myself. The waiting time was 15minute. I also spoke to Avios as well who confirmed there isn't a problem.
Thanks for your advice, but i dont expect on this site to deal
With some aggressive smart !!!! blogger.
Anyway, if you can't be polite just don't bother replying to posts.

There is a difference between them not accusing you of fraud and you not committing fraud.
I'm not quite sure how exactly you are "accidently" claiming for the same flight under 2 schemes, and how you are "accidently" claiming miles for ineligible flights, but what you described was fraud. Not remotely serious fraud no (and you did bring it to their attention - which would be why they let you keep the miles), but unless you still maintain it was innocent (short term memory loss?), you gained advantage through deception.0 -
I'm not sure how I accidentally claimed for two flights. I came here for guidance. The difference between BA and avios is that you can claim tier points for upgrades, as well as avios points. My intention was to get the tier points not duplicate miles. Hence asking money savers what was going on. I had only just opened the BA exec club. Again, wanting to seek further clarification. If people think this was a deliberate act of fraud, so be it.0
