Thanks Hovel Lady! What a smile too!
He is just the best man ever.
(sorry Mr PC!:rotfl:)
1 week until I go to Silverstone, very excited! I don't want it to rain because we're camping, but then again I do want it too because JB is so good in the rain!
This week has been hard for me, work has been shocking and even though Ive applied for over 200  jobs in the last 3 months I dont seem to be getting anywhere.
I am grateful I have a job and it pays the [STRIKE]debts[/STRIKE] bills but I was so stressed out yesterday I had chest pains. I made myself walk home to calm down and 3 miles later I was much better, but I can't carry on like this. I can't believe one man can make me feel this bad
Anyway, its Thursday and I'm doing ok with my debt as I'm overpaying on my overpayments. Its amazing how much extra money you can "find" when you budget properly. :A
I don't mean to be ashamed, because I am trying everything to pay off my debt, I just wish I could share some of my angst with my mum but I know she will be devastated.Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0 -

Oooo I best have a search for that! :happyhear
Mums are the best aren't they?! Its like she knows something is up without me even telling her. :A
Went for my interview last night, it went really well, everyone seemed nice and the atmosphere was chilled (for a shop anyway!) which is what I need. They were fine about me not being available all the time which is a relief. I have a trial shift tomorrow so I will find out for definite if I get it. For a part time job the perks are really good and cos they sponsor the paralympics I'll get to meet all of them.
I was good too and didnt spend a single penny even though all the lovely shops were calling my name!:j
Another £15 towards the debt today, making it an extra £464 on top of my normal payment for the last 6 weeks :T
Hope everyone is doing ok! xTotal: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0 -
Counting down the hours until home time.
My boss is getting worse. He is just being unbelievably rude at the moment and I do know why. He's never been ideal but the last few months have been ridiculous. I would like to talk to him and find out the problem but I don't know how I'm going to without getting emotional. He gets me that upset.
I have had a phone call from an agency about a job which would be similar to what I'm doing now, but at a higher level and the pay rise would be pretty impressive so it would really really help the financial situation. As soon as Im out of here Im picking up the phone!
All I want is a job where my boss doesnt want to make my life a misery. Is that too much to ask?!Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0 -

Thanks badger
We dont have an HR department, we have a consultant who comes in occasionally. We are supposed to be able to talk to her but she is his friend and the worst HR person I've ever met. She's known for "snitching" on people. Other in the company know what he's like and they tell me to ignore him, but because we work so close together its impossible.
I couldnt get hold of the agency lady, but first thing monday morning I will be on the case. I'd get at least £350 extra a month if I got the job!
At least I am home with a cold glass of pear cider in my hand. :rotfl:Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0 -
Grrr boss sounds like a total k**b!!! And HR doesn't sound much better  Actually worse because they're supposed to be the people you can go to for help and advice
I really hope you can get hold of the agency lady tomorrow morning!!
Oooh only a week to go you lucky thing!!If I see someone trying to get in the McLaren pits I'll know who it is :rotfl:
Mmmmm pear cider, I love a swedish one beginning with R ending ekorderligLBM 24/05/2012 :TAugust NSD 10/12 * £2 savers0 -
My trial shift got cancelled yesterday because of the stabbing in the shopping centre  bit annoying in terms of money earning, but obv that is pretty scary so Im glad to be out of the way. They said they'd call me when the store reopened so hopefully I'll get to start during the week.
Im very excited about the GP but the cost of it all is starting to worry me. I need to work out how to go without spending too much money. As we're camping Im hoping we're allowed to bring our own food and drink cos the food prices are always ridiculous in those places.
If you see a small person lurking in the background of every JB interview you'll know its me!:D
NSD for me today and I even managed to tidy under the sink and sort out a few boxes of random stuff like cellotape, batteries and even a finger trap??! Seriously I dont know why we keep all of this stuff?! :rotfl:Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0
