Badger it is, even though its not much money, it makes me a little proud of myself :)

One day when I'm not too embarrassed, I'll tell you what I do :D

Yay to being paid! Do you piggybank? I have 5 accounts! one for spending money, one for personal bills, one for debt overpayments (because I have a loan, I cant just pay off little bits at a time) one joint account for food and household bills & rent and one saving account when the change from using the debit card automatically transfers to it. I find its the best way of keep track of everything and not spending money that was meant for direct debits.

    I get paid tomorrow! :D:D

    Morning smiley-happy059.gif

    I'd love to know biggrin.gif

I don't piggybank, I tried it once but I'd just transfer more money over if I wanted to buy something shy.gif

Hope you have a good day!!

    Morning badger!

    Payday today :j:j:j

I actually had money left over this month, I'm really pleased with myself! I put it straight into the overpayment pot and now I'm nearly 30% of the way to bringing my DFD to June :)

I have to do it because I don't want to ever miss a payment and mess up my credit report - I've got 12 months left before a default clears so after that I want a spotless history!

The loan repayments start going out on Monday so I've really got to knuckle down on the budgeting. Ebay is going well though, so maybe I'll be ok...

    TGIF!!!

Wooo, finally home, just in time to see all my ebay things sell. I've made a cool £90 this week!:j

I've also been offered a trial shift tonight at a swanky club in Mayfair! Cheryl Cole went there last week, so I think its popular with the celebs.:D I think I'd really enjoy working there and it would def help with the debt, but I'm not sure if I want to work a full time job, and then do a 7 hour shift in a club 2/3 times a week. I'm prob going to lose a lot my wages to the tax man too... Decisions decisions! I just feel a bit stupid turning down cash, but I just feel like this might not be a good idea :(

I wish every week would be this good financially!

Wow well done on the smiley-signs141.gif sales that's fantastic smiley-happy036.gif

That's a tough one PC the extra money would be good, but you don't want to make yourself ill from working too much smiley-think005.gif Unless JB goes there... smiley-love029.gif
Do you have to make a decision soon or can you mull it over for a while?

Thanks! Shame I have to pay for postage and paypal fees out of that :(

I've said no to the job. I had a big chat with the OH about it, and with his long hours we dont get to spend much time together so he didnt want me to take it. Also, they wanted someone to work week nights as well and I'd end up getting in trouble at my day job because I'd be so tired all the time. :(

I feel bad because I've turned down extra money when it would really help, but I think I've made the right decision.

The OH is being really supportive through this so I can't begrudge him not wanting me to have two jobs.

Hopefully JB will nip down to my local instead.. :D

It sounds like it's the right decision, the extra ££ would be nice but at the end of the day your health and happiness is far more important :)

Send him to mine afterwards ;)

A bit of good news for an other wise dull Tuesday - I have started my loan repayments properly now :) and Ive got an interview for the new Mini shop near the Olympic site :j Its part time, only a few hours a week and basically you get to play with gadgets all day. Fingers crossed!

Its much more suitable than that job in a club as the shifts are only very short and I dont live that far away from it either. Its only temporary so hopefully I wont feel too over-worked :o

The only problem is its next to the massive Westfield shopping centre so I will have to put my blinkers on and not succumb to temptation. :rotfl:

Oooh that's great news wiggle.gif When's your interview?

I'd have to leave my purse at home if I worked near Westfield whistling.gif I'm lucky(??) as where I work it's all industrial so nowhere to spend money except for the SM.

Second loan repayment came out today so I am now sub £12k :D I can't wait to get below 5 figures, then I'll really be able to see if my hard work is paying off.

Was talking to DM last night about breadmakers as she makes her own too and she ended up offering to buy me one!:j I wasn't expecting that at all but she says I shouldnt bother getting a cheap one as I'll never use it, and when I said I can't afford an expensive one she jumped in and said she'd buy me one!

    to super cheap bread!

My OH and all you MSE forum-ites are the only people who know I'm in debt. I'm proud to be dealing with it but I am still ashamed as I have a decent wage and no responsibilities so there is no reason for me to be in this situation. It makes me all the more determined to get rid of this debt as soon as possible so I dont feel like I have a dirty secret.

Sorry for the long post, feeling pensive today! :o
