Nope, no vinegar smell except when you first pour it into the machine! Just use the same quantity as you would use conditioner. I'm sure I read on the forum that some people with psoriasis washed their clothes with just vinegar and water.
I still use powder, it's probably psychological but I like to think it's cleaner though vinegar removes grease and fats and therefore it probably would do the job on its own.
Congrats on the PPI, every little helps (every alot helps more!)0 -
:j:j:j for the PPI refund.0

I've just had a thought... do you have contents or buildings insurance? Sometimes one of the extras they offer is a free counseling number as well as legal advice. It might be worth having a look.0

Morning all, what a dreary day! I can't believe its June especially when I put tights, socks and boots on this morning!
I switched off my PC and TV last night and finished my book. I've been reading Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo etc) and now I've finished them all. What to read next?
Feeling a bit better this morning, got a bit of researching to do and someone suggested meditation which I'm keen to try out as I feel like I need to empty my head. If that makes sense?!
Yay for the PPI refund:D
The OH turned his nose up at the vinegar, but as I do most of the washing I can use it and he probably won't even notice!
Its very quiet in the office today, half term and jubilee holidays mean there are only 3 of us today when there should be 14
It does mean I will have time to sort some of my own admin out and do a big shop online as we cant live off fish fingers, cereal and duty-free toblerone forever!

Hi Pencakes, just read your diary.
You always feel a bit blue when you return from a holiday, especialy coming back to dreary and cold weather. So I hope you have picked yourself up a bit since then.
Just wanted to say well done on the PPI refund, it all helps in the long run.
I use my own diary as my sounding board, I don't really have a lot of people to talk to so find it helpful when getting things off my chest. Plus I'm brutally honest with myself on there, which in the long run when reading back shows me how far I've come when Im having a bad day. Sounds odd when I read that back - but I hope you know where I'm coming.
I have subscribed to your diary so keep posting.
PS I love your avatar - please don't tell me they are your real life pets!0 -
Hi Becks,
Thanks for your post. I wish they were my pets! I just love the look on the pigs face, so content!
I just came back feeling relaxed and I get into the office to have my boss criticise me. He frequently tells me I'm doing 3 people's jobs, but then has a go about my ability to manage my workload!
I think you're right about writing a diary. I find it helps to vent and I don't worry to much about burdening people with my problems (which I do when I talk to my OH or mates)
Thank you for subscribing, hopefully there will be some fun bits as well as my moans! :rotfl:

Just got home after a little trip up North to see my family, went out for my cousin's birthday last night and was taken aback by the drink prices - so cheap compared to London, so a very DFW night out for me, I didnt use my card and I came home with money!
Trying all I can to bring my DFD forward - if I do the minimum loan repayments it will be December 2013 and that just seems too far away. The charge for paying of my loan early is 5 weeks interest which is definitely worth paying if I can shave a good 5/6 months off the loan term. I just want it gone now!
Watching the Grand Prix now, definite guilty pleasure for me. Especially when they do close ups of Jenson Button:D
Ebay sesh tomorrow, got to tackle some boxes full of stuff that never get touched. Fingers crossed for something valuable that I can sell sell sell!
