Youview offers a full STB catch-up capability and many smart TVs and blu-ray players offer partial services (mainly iPlayer atm). Streaming players are also developing this capability. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

Ah. Thanks for that. And unlike the previous uninformed poster, thats true, too. Apart from the fact Vision does again offer catch-up TV from the 5 main channels. And BT Vision is also morphing into YouView, too.
They will run the two services concurrently, keeping Vision for those that aren't bothered about HDTV. I've had the service for years and it's pretty good for only £4 a mth for on demand TV catch-up or £12.50 a mth for Unlimited on demand access (except brand new box office films).
And I'm looking forward to YouView. It has a good chance of changing the face of 21st century digital Freeview television. And it's about time too.0 -

Does look like the YouView box is based on the HDR-T2, however I suspect that it does not have the same level of integration of the catch up services. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

You might want to ask a colleague to interpret ...That is total nonsense. The HUMAX HDR T2 offers full catch up facilities. That however, is no longer the case. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
