    Morning All

Nothing on this evening so far so I may actually get round to doing something. Just going to get dressed, do dinners, wash the dishes, put the WM on and walk the dog then I'll see if I've got time to do anything else - oh it's bin day as well so I need to put all the bins out.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Morning all - day off today!

Hopefully the Argos delivery will arrive - extra tall stairgate to keep dog 2 (2 years old, energetic and tall beagle) out of bedroom no 2 - he jumps normal sized ones with impunity, and a couple of inches to spare - he can't get over the current tall one we have at our bedroom - he likes to go in and 'arrange' the room (trash it!) and make a nest on the bed - it wears thin after a while! Currently we have 2 stair gates up, one above the other with a gap of about 6" for the door handle - he can get through that and leave the stair gates intact!

Mrs X (Boss' mum) had her op very late yesterday but didn't hear any more so I assume all went well - I will find out more later. Also found out yesterday my mum has another DVT - that's the second in about a month, other leg this time - her GP is managing it, she has to go back to them at 9 this morning and have injections for a few days - I've told her to ask about regular meds now as I think after 2 they should be looking into it - she's an active 82 and out and about every day, walks everywhere and no other health problems - bit worrying I can't do anything as she's 140 miles away now. :(

Should be able to get all of today's list done! Makes a change, although I must knuckle down and get on with that crochet shawl - it's a 3 ply one, so quite fine, only half done and the baby will be here on the 15th is not before - that's just over 2 weeks away! Shower time anyway, lovely sunny day - have a nice day everyone!

    Welcome to the thread, kaymumof3.
Virtual hugs, pigpen - do they have nice photos of you to put up? If it was me I wouldn't be able to complain, since I avoid having pics taken.

Yesterday I did lots more laundry (only one more load left for tonight and then I've caught up), did tea and cleaned the sink. I also played fish with DS2 and had an earlyish night.

Late day at work today (not supposed to finish until 5pm), so tonight will be: finish laundry, do tea, do a bit more in the kitchen, bath for me and DS2. Will also do stuff to try and protect my voice, as it's rather croaky at the moment.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Pigpen - hugs

Cleaning sink - if you don't like bleach, then fill the sink as previous with hottish water and add biological powder, leave for a while or overnight. I keep a stash of the really cheap bio powder for this sort of thing. It is also good for getting grease off pans etc.

Also use bio powder for soaking inside of washing up bowl.

Yesterday, utter fail with cleaning out cupboards to put stuff away properly and so failed to sweep/mop floor but four black bin sacks.

Although I am tempted to continue in the kitchen, now that I have made a clean spot, I am going to start with the clutter on surfaces in the living room and study. That is probably the day taken care of.

Thank you again for the lists.

Morning ladies. This is what I've achieved since yesterday.

    Monday - kitchen
    Put away 5 things
    Wipe your work tops
    Wipe the window ledge
    Clean the windows

Tuesday - Living room and downstairs Loo
Hoover, moving furniture if you can
    Dust your electricals
Bash your cushions and shake your rugs (outside)
    Wipe skirtings and picture rails
    Clean the windows
    Catch up on phone calls/appointments
Plan something to do for the weekend/half term

Now about to get dressed and walk the dogs before doing the paid stuff. Have a good day everyone.
