problem now is she is been so overprotective, she's normally such a lovely girl who love everyone, it's strange to see her been nasty.

Lol guarding kittens! I haven't let Kizzy near our cats since having pups, I'm pretty sure she'd eat them! She's growled at my brother in law and his gf, and went to grab my niece! My niece, was my fault as I knew Kizzy was looking at her funny, but someone else (my drunk mother) in the room kept telling me she was fine. Not sure why I listened, as I know my dog! She also launched at me last night growling and snarling, as I walked in the room, it was dark and when she realised it was me she couldn't stop wagging her tail! I hope this is all normal and she goes back to her old self when the pups are older.

Ridgebacks, very protective of their family (human ones too)! Nala was a nightmare for nipping people who came into the house (who weren't welcomed in by us with lots of hugs etc). She wouldn't snarl or anything, just sneak round the back of them and nibble at the fleshy bit at the top of their inner thigh :) but out and about she was fine and was very sociable.
