Can I just double-check that this account is still paying 2.57% gross interest if I'm still within 12 months of setting up the account, and will continue at this rate until anniversary of account opening?

Yes, 2.67& gross till 12 months up.

    Great, thanks guys.

I recall shifting funds out around 17th Jan, but could not be bothered putting it back and chasing the difference lost etc.

I think I'll transfer something there for the next 7 weeks.

I've got this in my spreadsheet:

    Opened 1st July 2012
3.17% up to 25/02/13 <- this bit the PO messed us around on.
    2.67% up to 30/5/13
    1.15% after 30/5/13
    Interest paid from 20-25th March
    I've got similar:
    Opened 26/05/12
3.17% to rate drop 17/01/13 when most funds were pulled
    2.67% to account anniversary
    then 1.15%

I must double check with the PO when my rate drops to 1.15% - job for tomorrow!

It seems you pulled your funds early. Although the original rate drop was 17/01/13, it was later cancelled and changed to 25/02/13 due to them not following the rules!

It'll be a year from when you opened your account (assuming you mean the Iss 5).

Yeh I did as I found out on around that date, but their loss both ways as it went where it was earning more interest (Santander esaver iss 5) where it resides until that bonus disappears fairly soon now. :(

Cheers for the heads-up but where have you seen this?

My spreadsheets says that my overall rate drops from 2.67 to 1.15 on 30/5/13 or am I becoming even more forgetful?

Edit - just to make it clear that I'm moving my money from this account on 30/5/13 anyway!
