Today I received a standard 'we're investigating' type of letter - we have 8 weeks etc etc.
But more interestingly there was an email address on the letter which may be of help to others complaining.
fscustomercare@postoffice.co.uk
And another letter in todays post offering me some small compensation - with a letter of apology and a SAE to accept offer.
Very painless (having said that I havent been paid it yet!!).
Good luck0 -

I have been waiting for a full week for my promised compensation. Mind you, they did say it would take 8-10 days, so I am staying in my pram for now.0 -
Also paid into account.0

Has anyone received their interest for this account yet? On my spreadsheet I had it down that interest is payable from 20-25th March.
Am I being too ambitious?0 -
I assumed it was on the anniversary of the account opening, so I still have a couple of months to go.0

Yes, but I went with the monthly interest option

When is interest paid?
Your interest can be paid monthly or annually. You choose this when you open your account.- annual interest is paid in March for each year the account is open
- monthly interest is paid on the first Business Day of each month

Can I just double-check that this account is still paying 2.57% gross interest if I'm still within 12 months of setting up the account, and will continue at this rate until anniversary of account opening?0

I've got this in my spreadsheet:
Opened 1st July 2012
3.17% up to 25/02/13 <- this bit the PO messed us around on.
2.67% up to 30/5/13
1.15% after 30/5/13
Interest paid from 20-25th March0
