Top right corner of every post, you see the post number. Right-click on it, then "Copy Link Address" (might be diff in diff browsers, I use Chrome). Then paste the link into your post - voila :cool:0 -
How can they tell you one figure over the phone (if true) and yet have a different figure on the website? If that is not illegal it should be!0

If this is a change of heart it won't be anything to do with not giving enough notice. They'll have been panicking about the amount of funds suddenly disappearing from their coffers and the adverse publicity.
Good news, but it'll only be temporary, and whether 2.67 or 3.17% its still peanuts and less than inflation after tax.0 -
email received today:We recently wrote to inform you of interest rate changes to your Online Saver Account which were due to take effect on 17th January 2013.
We recognise that customers did not receive this communication 14 days in advance of the change and have therefore delayed implementation of these changes which will now apply from 25th February 2013. Although we have now delayed this rate change, if you feel you were disadvantaged because you took action as a result of the original notification of the change, please let us know.
Details of the 25th February change, including your old and new rates, are shown in the table below. Any additional bonus rate that may be applicable to your account will be unaffected
New gross AER 1.15%0 -
I've not received mine yet, but they have another 6 days before the 14 day deadline.
So it's a 0.5% drop or £50/year gross less per 10K0 -
so the new rate with bonus is still 2.67.. that's good!0
