Great news Em, what was the outcome of the bonus? Did he get anything extra he could put towards paying the car off too? Has he decided to sell it yet?0

Hi Pap
He finally got the letter yesterday. It's about £1,600 after tax, so I think he's giving all of that towards the car.
Haven't a clue what he's doing with that flaming car yet. If I had my way, it would just be sold to webuyanycar.com and that would be that
.

Ohh thats not too bad even if it is less than you were expecting. I see your reasoning, seems pointless leaving it there to rust away and lose value. Maybe you should list it on auto trader on his behalf :rotfl: Or is that naughty?0

I think that sounds very sensible

Hey everyone
Sorry I haven't been around recently.
Little updates for you. OH has paid off his car. He owes his mate £2,500 which he's going to pay £500 a month off. He also cleared a couple of his payday loans with his bonus, but has 4 left still. Anyway, that's not my problem. As long as I get my rent, I'm leaving him to it. He's still not talking to his parents. They sent him an email the other day. I actually feel sorry for them for a change.
Have decided I'm going to be really tight with money this month. If I don't need it, I'm not buying it. If I do need it, I'll try to get it for free or as little money as possible. Yesterday I ordered a anniversary card for my sister and BIL from Amazon. I have no more occasions in August.
In September, I have OH's birthday, my sister's birthday, couple of cousin's birthdays (cards only) and my mum and dad's anniversary (My sister and I always buy flowers between us). So it's a pretty busy month occasion wise. I would like to save up £100 in Amazon vouchers for OH to spend for his birthday (I have just under £15 in there now). I also need around £60 in cash from survey sites/Jackpot Joy for my sister's birthday and my mum's anniversary. Was going to get my sister a bag from Amazon, but think it's better to get one from the shops.
Otherwise, I should be okay with diesel for a while as OH filled the tank up yesterday, although I do have to go to the hospital a week Monday. We've also got a fair amount of food in.

Right, need a to-do list for tomorrow I think:- Do 81 questions (I know it's an odd number)
- Put cheque into the bank (for £17)
- Take back shoes that I bought last week (only £11.99, but I don't need them so they are going back!)
- Play on Bingoport (no more Amazon vouchers, but I can get bingo cash and may get a win from that)
- Play on Woohoo Bingo
- Do any surveys that come in
- Play the free game on JPJ
- Do all my meds (been a big slack with that recently
) - Check Onepoll during the day
- Do Superpoints
Off to watch the tennis

Back home, so no chance of parting with any money today. Watching the doubles tennis now
.
Forgot to mention earlier that OH did some shopping at Sainsbury's yesterday and we got a £3.41 brand match coupon back, so I have that if we need some food.

Hi Emz,
Good to hear you're back and still pushing forward. That's quite a to do list there! I hope you get it all done. I should do a few lists for the week too!
Well done to your OH too. He sounds like he's making great strides forward. Your great influence I assume?
