Thanks Lou, MT and Beccie. However, I've just had a call and my appointment is cancelled because a doctor has gone off sick. Good job I'm well at the moment I guess. Pleased that I won't have to spend money on parking today though.
OH took me out for breakfast. We went to Wetherspoons. Very nice too
.
In the same place, they have a Pavers shoe shop. We had a quick look and I've seen a bag in there that would be suitable for my sister's birthday. It was only £20. I'm thinking of going back this afternoon and buying it out of my £70.
I'll need to get the £20 back somehow so that it doesn't mess up my £3.50 a day thing. I've made a good start by withdrawing £11 from Panelbase, so only £9 to go
.
Gained 45p too as I found it in the pub .

Hmm, I've bought the bag, but I'm not sure about it now. I didn't notice the lining earlier. It's rather colourful and I'm not sure about it. I know it's only the lining, the outside of the bag is fine. My mum convinced me it would be okay, but I now have a niggling feeling that it's not.
The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that I should take it back. I don't think I would be happy owning a bag like that, and my sister and I have very similar tastes.
On another note, my mum bought me some bottles of 7up and a packet of mints
.

Okay, I've actually had a change of heart about the bag. It's kinda growing on me. Once I took out all the packaging rubbish, the pattern inside looked much better. I've got 2 weeks to take it back, so will give it a week and see how I feel.
Done another £1 survey tonight and gained another 6p that was lying around in the flat (finders keepers
).
Got some free tickets to see a movie a week tomorrow - A Few Best Men. Not sure what it's like, but I'm not one to refuse a free trip to the cinema
.
No money spent today (apart from the bag money, but I will make that back somehow) and I actually gained 51p.

Told OH that he could have £100 to spend on Amazon and he has chosen just under £150 worth of stuff. I forgot that he also gave me a pair of Oakley sunglasses for my birthday as well as £100 worth of clothes, so I have said that I will get him all the stuff, but some will be before his birthday, and some afterwards.
I should be able to get all the items by the end of September at the latest and that will give me time to build up vouchers again in time for Christmas.

Emz~None of my beezwax but it doesent matter what your OH bought / spent that was up to him.

Morning

Slept terribly last night. It was like a furnace in the flat!! Ended up opening every window. I expect there are a lot of bugs lurking now .
Will hopefully be another NSD today, although I think my sister wants to go into town later. I will try to resist buying anything!!
Looking after my nephew tonight as it's my sister and BIL's wedding anniversary so they are going out for a meal. My niece is up north with her grandparents for the week.
