Morning all. Just checking in before I leave for my exam, I'm anxious trying to busy myself
I really hope it's not too hot in there. Yesterday was awful, we had to wait in this tiny reception area and everyone was dripping with sweat  Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Hi All
Sorry to hear of your problems Nmlc--thoughts to you at this time.
We really must get a new bed because sleeping every night on the sofa is not good and psychologically bad for the marriage!-i got a good scolding this morning for some trivial matter from yesterday from Mrs De.--she is ok now though.
İ have to go and get my results from the doctor at 1pm so fingers crossed i will see the day out in good spirits! otherwise it's a relatively quiet day -i have just 2 lessons this afternoon and then the rest of the day is mine. The cleaner is at home so i wont go home early because she doesnt want me under her feet. i might go for a cruise on my motorbike if my mate comes calling.
Good day to you all and may all your piles of ironing be little ones!

Very foggy here too. As is my head. Too much wobblede at the pub last night methinks  student coming to see me at 10. Am doing a flylady on my emails, 27 fling boogies. As i get marking in every day I've also decided to set marking at 2 more than came in the previous day. So today that's 5. I will defeat the marking pile!!! This afternoon will make a start on my 6000 word essay. I have to write a reflective piece and 2 case studies. Aiming to get first draft of case study done this afternoon. Should be another NSD and a NPD. Onion soup for lunch with HM ciabatta. Undecided on supper. Had planned toad and fogot to get sausages d'oh

washing is on the line , the house is reasonably clean , but i need to clean the bathroom
both DDs are at home revising , so i will do some gardening to keep out of their way .
will do another session of the couch to 5k , today , was going to go last night after work but i was too hot.
tired mum lovely to see you posting
WS think im a day ahead of you , last night i worked my way through a mountain of ironing , followed by burger in buns
found a little baby bird on the patio ( dead
) it looked as if it should have still been inside an egg , but there was no traces of an egg anywhere, i dont know how it got there. poor thing
i have fed the guinea pigs , fed the birds and put fresh water in the bird bath
have a lovely day everyone x0 -

Good Morning All
Hello again TiredMum
Very best of luck today Adelight.
Today I am trying to have the day off, came down with a really sore throat last night & now have come out with a full blown cold
so going to take it easy and chill on the sofa this morning, if I feel better later there's lots of things I could be doing. Unfortunately have got an issue with one of our clients so can't completely relax at the moment.
Not sure what is for dinner, will be something from the freezer - hoping to run them down over the next couple of weeks.
Can't think of anything else to say so off now, have a great day.x0 -
Tru....glad Daisy hen is ok:j. It is prob just a blip and not a problem but if they free range they can sometimes get low in calcium which can cause thin shelled eggs. If it carries on she may need limestone flour adding to the feed to up her calcium.
I am assuming they have access to poultry grit with oyster shell anyway. Baking and grinding their own eggshells and eeding it back is another MSE way of increasing calcium levels.
You prob already know this stuff but I cant help poking my nose in where chooks are concerned:o;)
Sorry to hear about the guinea pig:(0 -
Morning everyone, I do read this thread everyday - just never joined in until now.
Lovely sunny day again here in Kent, so the WM is on ready for me to fill the washing line.
I've got sooo much to do today, from cooking next weeks meals ready for the freezer to sewing on badges for DS's beaver uniform & abit of gardening and cleaning in between, plus its one of our good friends birthday so going to make him some fudge and a cake... So my day is fully took up with my rather long list of chores.
DH is off today, he has done the hoovering for me but he will be off out soon he has a few swarm of bees to collect today - Not complaining though cos he is building up his bee empire which means more honey for me
Hope you all have a lovely day... xx0
