            What is so funny Stamford?
Phil has come on this board asking for advice, so most of us are trying to help him.
If you don't want to say anything constructive then perhaps you should say nothing at all?
dmg do you read the discussion threads at all

I am well aware of Phil's previous posts, but if you don't want to contribute to them, then don't! Stamford's comment earlier was plain nasty, and there is no need for it.Gone ... or have I?0

I can understand Stamford's frustration with SP. I've been frustrated too with his refusal to listen to advice. But I don't think that plain nasty posts will really do SP any good at all. And in this case SP has taken the advice he was given on another thread, to go and post on the jobs board!

You have made 925 posts in approx one year, I've done 848 in two years - looking at the space he filled yesterday he did around 150 between 10.50am Saturday and 1.30am early hours of Sunday.0 -
Phil your best thing would be is to get a CV done, go into town and hand it in anywhere you would like to work, they might ask you to do an application form but most places are asking for CV's now.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0

I do know what you mean and, as I said, I too am getting frustrating with SP and I've not spent anywhere near as much time on his threads as some others have. His daily post average is 44, mine is 2.4!
However, he is either a troll (and despite the evidence I've really been reluctant to believe that, but I admit it is tempting sometimes); or he is someone with serious self-esteem problems who needs to seek help (and I hope he will). Whilst I can see the temptation to resort to nasty posts sometimes, I don't see that it really serves any useful purpose and probably just makes him feel even worse. Wouldn't it be better just not to post anything when it gets to that stage?0 -
I am going to go today and see what happens.:beer:0
