There isn't really any need for that is there? I know he has been doing a very good job of provoking people but, asuming he's real, he has real problems with low self esteem. Only he can sort them out, but posts like yours are only going to make him worse0 -
Take the wee wee all you want to but I do know if I don't do something some on the job front then I might as well class my life as over as I am never going to achieve anything in life and never make anything of myself.:beer:0

Phil why not go down to the jobcentre have a look about see if there is anything that catches your eye, stop being so dramatic and others will help you. You are the only person who can do anything about your life, you make it what it is. If you don't enjoy things in your life do something about it.Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.:j:DFeel the love baby!0 -
Phil,
Please just ignore idiots like that, he deserves banning.
Are you confident on the phone? If so, then yes, give them a call and ask if they have any (part time?) positions available at the moment.
If you don't want to phone, then just send in your cv. Always best to get the store managers name first, or find out if they have a particular point of contact for recruitment. This will probably take a phone call, but it can be completely anonymous.
I hate using the phone, but somehow am ok if they don't know who I am?!
Best of luck xGone ... or have I?0 -

I used to work for WH Smith and I guess the response you will get is 'here is an application form'. We used to keep all the forms on file and everytime there was a job to fill we would get the forms out and go through them all. They like people with previous customer service experience and score the applications (I used to be involved in this). If you want any tips then shout out. WH Smith very rarely advertise vacancies in job centres because they get so many applications they don't need to. One good way to get in is through weekend work or temporary Xmas positions as they tend to keep the best temps on.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

What is so funny Stamford?
Phil has come on this board asking for advice, so most of us are trying to help him.
If you don't want to say anything constructive then perhaps you should say nothing at all?Gone ... or have I?0 -

He's a lost cause, this thread can be tracked back to one he started about whether or not it was worth him getting a part time job which sprang from one concerning rip off dentists. He is a master at wasting space, workshy and bone idle. He can't even be bothered to be a student as he spends 90% of his waking hours on these forums0
