Hi there
I currently bank with Santander
and I'm looking at changing. The Nationwide Flex account seems to be pretty good, I was just wondering what their customer service etc... is like really?
TIA

The flex account and internet banking is very good. Also free European travel insurance0

No problems here after about 40 years.
Except for a delayed ISA transfer which stopped me getting a good rate.....they paid compensation no quibble.0 -
Strongly recommended.0

Nationwide flex account works well online. The service I have received at Nationwide branches is pretty poor although not nearly as bad as A+L / Santander."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

There is good as any at taking your money. I have a Flex account only as a secondary account. Myself I like Lloydstsb with all their faults and would be very reluctant to move from them.0 -
We are quite happy with our flexaccount. Online banking is OK (the worst bit is the card reader and passnumber system, but they aren't the only ones with that). We don't use customer services much, but they have a secure online messaging system which gets a response pretty quickly.0

And seem to be able to actually respond to account queries! When I message other banks 9 times out of 10 I get a message back saying "call this number" to sort it out 0 - if I wanted to call, I would have called in the first place!0 -

RBS & LTSB do not even have an e mail enquiry service."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Been with them a few years, they seem to be ok. The online banking is pretty good but using those annoying card readers can be a pain.Thinking critically since 1996....0
