    So glad it went well you certainly sound like a good match for each other.

    As for the different interests, don't worry, it can be good for a relationship if you each have your own hobbies and interests on top of the things you have in common. I have no interest in sport but OH loves it, I love the outdoors, nature, reading, photography amongst other things, it works well because I can take the dogs, my camera and a book off for a nice walk when he's watching a match or race.

    Enjoy the early stages and make them last as long as possible

    I just wanted to thank everyone who was kind and reassuring and give you an update. I think he's one of the nicest people I've ever met; we are officially 'together' and I've met his mum and dad who are lovely too. And I can't quite remember why I was so worried ...
