Have you looked in the charity shops for something "new" to wear to the wedding. You can often pick up nearly new or new things, even designer stuff in some areas. You just have to look and hope you find something in your size. It's amazing things that people "throw" away.

I have paid £310 off my debts this month but its left me with virtually nowt now as a few unexpected expenses came up. i never seem to have any spare coz something always turns up. i feel guilty every time i withdraw money from the bank. i know havent budgeted properley for august as ive got a few one offs to pay for. and the inevitable extra expenses that come with school holidays.

i'll get there one day !!!!!

The debts reducing but I'm struggling :-(

I'm trying to pay to much off to soon and now this month I've coem unstuck. 2 unexpected bills have come in totalling £140 - gutted!!

This was the month I was paying extra off my credit card and finally going to get it down to under £999 !!! And now I can't :-(

Feel guilty spending any money on anything but debts. I am desperate for winter boots but don't want to spend money on them !

We manage but think I need to budget for lviing allowances...school trips have come up, and I just don't seem to allow myself any 'spare' money at all and end up being cross

I'm sick of moaning about money all the time

Hi, sorry that you are struggling but many congratulations that you are making progress. When I was in debt I targeted one debt and always paid off £100 plus that months interest as soon as I got paid, I allowed myself a certain amount of money per week and at the end of the week if there was anything at all left that would also go to the card. that way it was only ever a week of feeling "short". It takes a wee time for anyone to adjust spending and this really helped me, good luck.
