Automatic car recommendations

Hello everyone,
Looking for a recommendation of a good, reliable automatic car? We are still considering a mini but if we find something similar that will cost less insurance wise (the mini insurance is £300 on comparison websites, but hopefully mum will get it discounted through the PF) we will probably go with something else- sobs!
Requirements:
-Must be able to be adapted to accommodate a left foot accelerator
-Cheapish on the insurance (the lower the better)
-Nippy- i.e. not something that crawls along slower than a snail (Im thinking nissan note here- horrible car!)
-Sturdy and well built- something you feel safe in. Nothing flimsy (again...thinking Nissan note
)
-Relativley large boot space
-5 seater would be great (I mean proper 5 seat with three full seat belts in the back)
-Reliable. We are looking at getting a car 2/3 years old and want it to last a LONG time- im talking another 7+ years

I have recently just purchased a mini and have no complaints! so awesome it's like a little go kart and my mpg is high and my insurance low! If you buy the diesel mini's they're also tax exempt

Don't drive it it's going to cost £300 a month, that's just silly.
Otherwise all automatics now are pretty solid, you've given too many loose variables to work with, only thing I'd say to avoid is the Ford Durashift (Durash*t) or whatever their called.
But like I said, walk if it's going to cost £10 a day to insure a car.0
