I'm really not liking this mini dress under a sheer long overskirt look, I think it looks a bit like a nightie.

looks like an arris cape! If my arris was a hero I would by it :rotfl:

Thanks for the feedback, I think I was at the mercy of my hormones kidding myself it would look fab. given my signature on here, it is likely a bit of back fat might be on show so not an attractive prospect :-(

Jumpsuit- In my opinion you'd need toned arms to carry it off and no cellulite. Also dependent on whether it's shiny polyester or matt. Shiny - bad, matt - better prospects.

Dress - Too much going on

Parka - Okay, pale colours can be difficult to carry off though

£65, Quiz at Debenhams. I really like this dress, thought it would be great for a wedding, but not sure that it will suit me colouring (golden tan atm, I think it might suit creamier skin better). There's also a part of me that thinks it could be mistaken for the kind of outfit that is sold from pop-up shops at £15. Opinions?

Been after a green dress for a while, for summer evening things, I know it's only Matalan but what do you think....

I like the flower print but I think the diamantes could look a bit tacky - you'd need to see it in person first. Quiz is generally quite tack-tastic with lots of bling and lycra!

This is a similar print, although it's not maxi.

That's lovely. I very much agree with most about avoiding polyester. But the dress I wore for my wedding was quite similar to this and I can't remember any excessive sweating/fire risk moments.... :)

Both dresses are lovely but I thought quiz clothing would be much cheaper. I find quiz a bit like H&M in that it looks lovely in the catalogue and online but looks and feels a bit cheap when I see it in the flesh.

The blue one is lovely, but I would not pay £160 for it.

Love the green Matalan dress as long as it doesn't hit the widest part of your leg. 3 inches below the knee is my worst length. Anything shorter or longer is fine.

Maxi dress is nice for a wedding, navy blue dress is lovely, reminds me of the one Keira Knightley wore in Atonement. Most evening wear is polyester these days isn't it?
