Oh, i should point out that i received an email saying that i was initially rejected for not being registered on the Big Lunch website... i just replied via the link and said that i had...
I don't suppose you can remember what day you registered with Carling, was it on or B4 the 23rd May
Thanks0 -
I registered on 24 May and got a confirmation email from them. Havent heard anything since so just sent a message via the weblink. Not looking very promising though.

I applied for both the Big Lunch and Carling offers on 24th May, my 45 bottles arrived today, I got a 'rejected' email, then heard nothing until the delivery guy knocked the door.
Thanks to the OP0 -
I never received a confirmation e mail from The big Lunch, got an 'unsuccessful' e mail from Carling so thought I had missed out. Just checked my e mails and have received one informing me that my Carling will be delivered tomorrow between 8am and 5pm. Will be great if it arrives.Born to glitch0

Grr. I had an email from them yesterday saying that the postcode on my application didnt match the one on the big lunch application!
I've emailed back to ask what postcode they have registered as I cant see how I would have put a different one, and there is no way to "log in" or anything on the big lunch site to check.
I've also emailed The Big lunch to check what postcode is registered but not had a reply from either of them.
The only thing I can think of is that my mum is registered on the big lunch site too, maybe they got the surnames mixed up?Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Nice to know they are actually looking after the information I gave them then.. NOT!
How can they really justify not being able to find a postcode from my email address considering they are the only two pieces of information I gave them (other than my name)
What help is giving them my full address when they never had it in the first place? I'm not going to give them my postcode again for them just to say "oh no thats not the one we have"
Carling STILL havent replied to me asking them what postcode they have for me, it all seems like a badly thought out excuse to me.
Why didnt I get the email saying I'd registered after the "supposed" cut off on the 23rd (I say that as Ross21096 said he registered on the 24th and still got his delivery)
VERY badly managed by Carling and The Big Lunch in my opinion.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Just emailed The Big Lunch back asking about their data protection policy and why they cant find my postcode when Carling have said that its different to the one they have.
One of them must be telling lies, either its a different postcode or they cant find it, it cant be both..
I'm not about to give them more personal information if they cant look after what they've got.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0
