    This!

Am intrigued at what "human right" has been violated, and which protected characteristic they have which has caused the "discrimination"?

I agree. I am sure everyone could pick holes out of 20 comments a day at work based on the original post and then the world would be full of tribunals.

Not unless its alongside bad comments and general actions. And I'd more be looking at the idea of hostile work environment instead of 'human rights breach'.

But it would have to be much, much worse than a couple of comments.

I think many on here will work with someone similar!

You will also find that such people can 'dish it out' but cannot 'take it' - so a like for like response when someone tries their best to annoy you can usually nip the problem in the bud.

Perhaps the individuals working there don't have a personal value base congruent with social care work.

Why do senior staff encourage this behaviour or are they also complicit?

I think you are probably spot on with that comment.
not sure about the seniors... the assistant manager was present when this was said as was the 13 clients at meal time.

The quicker that ridiculous Act is done away with the better. Too many people use it indiscriminately when what they really need to do is grow up and get a thicker skin.

I think you need to put things into perspective and move on (and it appears from your last post that you have done just that)
