I'm a bit bamboozled by how much I am paying. Considering giving up my business due to the cost of motoring.

I'd say worth investing a good half day in filling out comparison sites! I drive Merc C220 sports coupe 2007, have NCD protection, Legal cover, business use and 1 fault accident which bumped up my insurance from £650 (2010) to over £800 last year - but i accepted this due to my accident. Recently got my renewal for over £1000 which i thought i cant accept this. Shopped around at got varying quotes til i clicked on links from this website and tried tesco.compare..

I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw quote returning with my existing insurer (More Than) at £592 - almost half the renewal!! :-)
Rang them and with extras such as legal cover and NC protection settled at £624. Then i asked for quote with my retired mum on my policy and nearly fell off my chair when they said its £562 - wow!! Not bad at all for the car i drive...

Definitely worth shopping around these days....! :-)
