very well done Bossymoo! (loving the bear idea)

I too am on my own (through choice kind of ) and know the feeling of succesful decorating - once I started (during a period of unemployment) I went right through...house smelled permanently of paint fo 6 months.

This summer I need to paint kitchen and decorate LR and DR - then it'll be the hall, stairs and landing next  (Valli is scared of falling from heights)

DD came home from a sleepover with a box of 4 eggs from her friends chickens:D

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Well done bossymoo

I have achieved remarkably little other than laundry today and am still shattered. Off to bed now, in the hope that I get to sleep without thinking that everything is moving...

    Morning All

Mate came round and made a start on the jungle sorry garden yesterday so that looks 100 % better even though there's still loads more to do. Dh is currently ironing and there are towels on the line and a sleeping bag in the WM so all of the washing is going to get finished today - I couldn't do much of it yesterday as I couldn't put it on the line. I think we're out car hunting today as well so that'll take some time up and we need to go food shopping.

Well done Bossymoo - you're doing really well.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Dot did better last night and got me up at 6:30 instead of 5:30 despite going to bed super early.

Morning flyladies. I've not been around for a few days, but so far today have sorted out cupboard in the hall and some kitchen cupboards. I had no choice as I brought new stuff back with me that had to have a home. I've also boiled potatoes ready to make potato salad and have made coleslaw. Must get in the garden to cut chives.

I've eaten, so about to get dressed and will then sort out summer clothes. Other jobs for later:

    Vacuum living room
    Gardening
Walk dogs (think I will leave this to this evening as its so hot already)

I hope everyone has a lovely day.
Spend less now, work less later.
