Morning flyfriends
Shattered after another day on my feet in the shop - I am such a lightweight. Can feel migraine coming on so I'm hanging out washing very slowly cos if I move too quick I get shooting pains on one side of my head which makes me unbalanced  I must look like a zombie the neighbours are now convinced I'm bonkers
Pigpen that's a lovely pic of DS.
Great big huge CONGRATULATIONS gunsandbanjos have you stopped grinning yet
I'm so pleased for you what an achievement :T:T:beer::T:T
I do so love good news and happiness and pride in what we do!! This is such a supportive thread for all us wonderful flyladies, what a great gang we are:A

Quick progress update:
Ceiling emulsioned, feature wall under coated, all woodwork done except there is a big shelf that wants another coat.
Next stop:
radiator
Emulsion all round in cream
Go over feature wall in colour, two or possibly three times depending on coverage...
Check for any bits I've missed
Tidy up!!!
Yaay! Feels like its really moving today. Yesterday was hard going but I'm on a roll now. Have even cleaned up the window frames and blasted a mildewy bit.
New blind slats coming Monday
Carpet coming friday
Bed coming Saturday
Mattress coming following Friday.
Then I think I will take my time over curtains and a new light. I'll also need something for either side of the bed, but I might take my time with that too, and see how much room I have.
Just to finish lunch and I'm back on it!

I caught up on laundry, sorted the 6-9 month stuff for washing, changed Squeaks bedding, fed Dot and put her down for a nap got DW running load number 3 and now going to find some more food.. I am starved today for some reason!

Laundry marathon going on... Including the rugs from upstairs which haven't been done since the dust-making started. I now have three washing lines (all retractable) across the patio and am able to make the most of good drying weather!
I have some small jute rugs which I don't think can be washed. They appear to be very dusty. Does anyone know the best way to wash them (I have a horrible feeling that beating them with a broom will be the answer!)
I am slowly battling with the dust, but don't really feel much like doing housework or gardening in this weather. I have taken my suit to the dry cleaner, stocked up on laundry liquid and metal scourers, put away most of yesterday's approved food order (except the cough sweets... Not sure where to store 92 packs
) and got some fresh food in plus some trashy holiday reading.
Suppose I should go and do something...0 -
Boys bedroom and bathroom all done..:D Our bedroom nearly finished. The wm has been going all day, the stuff is drying quicker than i can get it out. Only another 4/5 loads to go and that's everything washed..:j
Rhys has been potty training today and only once has he not reached the potty in time (he was outside playing). He's so pleased with himself.
Hopefully that will be him out of nappies dueing the day, still need to get rid of the dummy but boy does he want to hold on to it.
Right better finish the bedroom..Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Done painting!
Got lots done today, but just been up and even though I used masking tape my feature wall paint has bled a little. So I will patch up in the morning.
Also planning a trip to the tip tomorrow with some bits of carpet, half a bed base and will visit Iceland as its right next door. In desperate need of foil and thought I might see if they have any mini ice lollies for dd, sort of like the mini milks but without the milk...
Memory bear lady has emailed to say she has got the sweaaters and will start the first one next week. Hope they turn out ok. DH would be really proud of me, I've worked so hard decorating, first time on my own, and I've picked out a load of photos for the tots special daddy album, got a plaque for his memorial tree, and getting some bears made out of his sweaters.
Ive been very brave this week! :-)Bossymoo
