Yes, and perfectly chilled too - it's cold in there because there's an external wall and no heating!

    Morning all
Still jetlagged-well sort of-was up half the night with NHS direct as my foot has swollen up and I wanted to check I didn't have any DVP (Um that doesn't sound right) symptoms as I did so much flying over the last week. They wanted to call an ambulance for me !! Ambulance service had other ideas and said I'd be fine to see my doc and then proceeded to chat about life, Vegas and how he got married out there-only his wife ran off with a firefighter 6 months later LOL Finally got to bed at 4.30-overslept so son missed his transport to school so had to call another one so bang went my NSD.
Weird happenings with stuff done through Quidco-Co-op have taken my annual house insurance premium twice-but can't find any record of the policy !! Hilton have changed a booking for next May from a flexible rate (pay on departure) to an internet pre-pay rate without notice and taken the £188 from my creditcard so £452 unexpected adrift at the moment between the two. Waiting for callbacks this morning on both and for Currys to deliver new fridge so can't hobble over to the docs or down to A&E.
Ho-Hum-today's theme song is definitely "The only way is up"
Off to empty the old fridge for Curry's to take away with them...Hmm coffee first I think

If it isn't I'm going back to bed and refusing to come out again !! ;)
Fridge is delivered-still no phonecalls from Co-op insurance or Hilton so suppose I can't put it off any longer and will head up to A&E by cab.
Ho-hum ain't life grand...but at least I'm not a tooth fairy in Hypno's neck of the woods so it could be worse !!!! :D

Hi guys! Been a so-so day! (aren't they all!). Invigilated until 1.30 then started to pull out of the car park and the car died!!! Couldn't do a thing with it. No AA (couldn't afford to renew it when it ran out a couple of weeks ago) so range OH. He came out and took great delight in telling me I had run out of petrol!!!!!!!!!

So, for the first time in 20 years of driving, I ran out of petrol! How embarressed was I! But at least it didn't happen on a roundabout or on the bypass or something, I was safe in the school car park.

Nipped into the city, had a quick coffee with the old crew and bought some secret Santa stuff that is needed for the weekend. Just got back home and my feet are killing me!! I am going to make Nigella's macaroni cheese for dinner and have with some sausages....yum, then get cracking on some work of some sort.....

Duchy, I hope your foot is ok - sounds like you have had a day you don't really want to repeat in a hurry!

I hope everyone else is having a reasonable day xx
