Ooh Snaggles, the understairs cupboard here needs a challenge all of it's own. It would be far too scary a prospect for me at the moment.

My bedroom and en-suite have remained clean and tidy, and the kitchen is Ok, so I am quite pleased. My lounge still looks like a bomb site, but that will just have to stay that way until I have a bit of time tomorrow.

I managed to get myself half an hour off, by cancelling my last client of the morning, she was a freebie, so I don't feel too bad about it, but I needed to get home and make some lunch and get a shepherds pie made ready for dinner this evening before I am due at the school at 1.15, so wasn't really giving myself enough time to do everything otherwise.

So for the next 10 mins, it is just me, my coffee, and MSE!!

Yup, sounds like ours.....it's just taken me over an hour to tidy the shelf in there! (it's a REALLY big shelf :o).

I am very impressed, Snaggles. I would love to be able to keep my hoover and my ironing board etc in my cupboard under the stairs. It is a huge cupboard, but full of "stuff" (don't even know what, really). It should form part of my housework challenge really - I will tag it on to the end!

There's a wardrobe in my hallway and I use the floor as an understairs cupboard (the real understairs cupboard is actually an alcove for books in the living room). Anyway........ its a scary place, the floor of that wardrobe. My ambition is to put a full length cupboard in an unused space in the kitchen - there's only cupboards along one wall, and there's room for stuff on both walls, for part of the way at least - its a bit like a galley kitchen.

Real reason for coming here was to forward you this, hypno, I'm not sure you've got time to go to the freebies board at the mo, and it certainly seems kosher:

    icon1.gif£40 for petrol with _http://www.leisureforall.com/
    Hello all
Just received a letter from BarclayCard - www.leisureforall.com (LeisureTime) site offers £40 for petrol/diesel for signing in - the annual membership is pricey £69.99 but you have 30 days trial, can cancel and keep this cashback anyway. Phoned to check - they reassured me that I can claim £10 every 3 months 4 times (You have to send a receipt confirming petrol/diesel buy) even if I canceled during trial, so it seems like free £40.
Hope it will be helpful - thanks, Eddy

    Thanks KC!!

Off to work again now. Have made the fasted shepherds pie in the whole world for dinner, and thrown some egg on toast down my throat! Had the obligatory mug of coffee, and now back to work.

Have a good afternoon everyone, and Snaggles - watch out for the cupboard monsters - I swear they live in them and create more "stuff" when you are not looking.....!!
