Well, my mad weekend continues - been ski racing all day with the children, got home and put pizza and garlic bread in the oven for their dinner, and have actually pushed the hoover around the middle bit of the lounge to at least give the impression that I care about housework.

I have got about a dozen mystery shops to load on to the laptop by tomorrow so I should really be doing those, but I may well be on MSE more than I should!

My mystery shopping marathon visits are now over - 24 shops all requiring me to buy the same identical list of goods. So in the hypno house we now have:

    24 jars of mayonnaise,
    24 jars of dolmio
24 tins of catfood (good job we have a cat!)
    24 loaves of bread
24 2 pint cartons of milk
24 packs of rich tea biscuits
    24 packs of fishfingers
    24 boxes of weetabix

So, need to head over to OS to get marvellous meal plans with mayo!

    Hi hypno
Just having a mooch around on mse rather than starting to cook the tea, and you made me laugh out loud with your comment about the catfood above! What on *earth* are you going to do with 24 loaves of bread, tho, they won't fit in the freezer, surely? Bread sculptures.... croutons....... and the milk too - I foresee lots of moist bread pudding in your future......... Enjoy!

And rich tea biscuits for goodness sake - who likes those????? Why couldn't they at least have allowed me to buy custard creams!

Anyone who rummaged through my kitchen cupboards at the moment would seriously question my sanity!

Pania - have you had a word with your boss about being super nosey yet? I am quite angry for you that they think they are reasonable in checking your statements every month  I have half a mind to come and sort them out myself..... They should be afraid - dozens of year 11s are now petrified of me. I give a very stern look when confiscating a mobile phone, so am sure I can get on my "compliance officer" high horse with sufficient scariness!!![/QUOTE]

Hi hypno just caught up with your thread, had a day watching OH play cricket so no internet! boo.

No not dealing with that one at the mo, had enough personal issues last few days without worrying to much about the boss, put it on the back burner til i next got the office (thursday i think) could do with the stern invigilator look then!! do you give lessons!:rotfl:
Yes am bloomin angry myself doesn't seem right, thinking of telling them to take a hike and finding another company, but have to admit it's given me a shove u the a*** to get it sorted!!

Sounds like you've had a nice sucessful weekend and doubt it will be long at all before that money gets verified! Bloomin paypal!

suggestion re excess food. Have you seen the skoda advert on tv where they build a car from cake? maybe you could try it with bread and milk held together with mayo and sell it on ebay for more money (that paypal can then refuse to let you have hence starting the cycle again!)
    :rotfl:
Sorry, definately a deprived of sleep sense of humour there, right got to get in my car and drive, have a lovely day!:j

Another day of ski racing today, although a fairly early finish so that was good. DS wasn't racing so was asked to help out (to keep him out of mischief really) but the guy organising everything paid him and his friend £5 each for their help. 2 happy 11 year olds!! To them £5 is loads of money. (well, to me £5 is loads of money too - wonder if I can "borrow" it  )

I have got a million mystery shop bits to load onto the laptop before the morning - I am finding them Soooooo tedious but they HAVE to be done otherwise I will not get paid. I only have 4 left but they are taking me longer and longer each one that I do because I have no brain left.....

Dinner tonight is spag bol using some of the mystery shop dolmio! I traded a jar of mayo with a friend who gave me a tin of tuna and a box of 3 magnums in return. I think I got the better deal!

Heading into the last third of the month tomorrow - thank goodness. Whilst I don't want to be wishing my life away, I will be very happy to get through the next 10 days or so intact!

Not a lot planned for today - have done a couple of hours invigilating, so a few quid in the pot there, but then got a call from DS school to say he has a migraine, (he gets them very badly, but has not had one for a few weeks so I thought he was growing out of them - false sense of security!) so had to go and pick him up.

He is now in bed fast asleep which means that he needs absolute quiet for a few hours.

So.....that means I dare not do any housework for fear of waking him up. How's about that for an excuse!

Of course, being on MSE is a silent activity so that is absolutely allowed!

Given that we are now in the final third of the month (hurrah) and that all the credit card/loans have been paid, I thought I would do my totals to try and motivate me for the rest of the month.

The reason for this is that we are likely to use the credit card for any groceries and petrol for the next week or so, so I am in need of staying focussed in order that it is only used for the absolute minimum.

I have £20 in my purse, so reckon I can easily do the week's shopping with that, so with that in mind, I am very pleased to report that this year I have reduced my debt by over £7000 so far!

Hopefully I will not have to update that signature before the end of the month to see it back down to 6 something!

    Roll on June.....:o

Mainly veggies I have to say, and something to go in sandwiches for packed lunches.

we will be living off weetabix and dolmio etc for a while yet, but do need our 5 a day too, but at least it keeps the shopping costs to a lowish level!
