Hypno, with the therapies stuff, what is it you do? It's just my mum's massage trained but we're not sure how to go about getting clients without getting the dodgy ones through advertising  Any tips?

I never did massage, for that very reason - I was always concerned about what sort of "extras" I would be asked to provide

If she wants to work from home or do home visits, I would advise saying she is a massage therapist with emphasis on the therapist. Also, many people say they will only see female clients (god I hope SS isn't reading this, he will be getting right excited now!), and emphasise the "medical" things it is good for - helping with IBS, back pain etc.

Or......take an additional course in Sports Massage - no problems with that one and plenty of work available. Plus she would get to rub the thighs of rugby players :D

The "safest" way to work is by coming to an arrangement with a doctors surgery or complementary health clinic. Some surgeries offer rooms free of charge so worth asking around.

hey honey, fab news that they've offered full time to. decisions decisions!! follow your heart and you'll come to the right choice.

don't even consider feeling bad about the chinese, done exactly same with OH tonight as feeling guilty for being ill on a friday night!!

If i feel better theres a fireworks display not far from you tomorrow OH and I are going to if you and the kids fancy it.

Hope you are all ok and not feeling too turbulent emotions with the highs and lows of the day. xx

    Oh no :(

I hope my first post wasn't too insensitive Hypno - I don't log on very much but I read and when I read about you feeling fed up about the ski money situation I jumped on to post about the quiz idea.

I didn't catch any other posts about your Grandpa at all :( (that will teach me to read things first before jumping on :()

My condolences and apologies for my total thoughtlessness and tactlessness.
