LOL at you lot!! While you were all chasing me up for news, I was still in "the longest job interview ever"!!!!

Anyway, the good news is that I got the job :j I got the call while I was having a quick coffee at Panias!!

So, now I can tell you all what it is - I will be teaching offenders in prison Life Skills, and Business Studies!! Bit of a challenge to say the least, but I am ready for that and very much looking forward to it. It allows me to draw on all the experience I have gathered throughout my various careers and put it together in one place.

I am sure it is not going to be easy, but I am so excited!!

Other good news of the day - DD has been to the doctor who confirms her chest is now free of any infection etc.

Sadly though, Grandpa died at lunchtime. Slipped away with the same dignity in which he lived his life.

so, a bit of a mixed day emotionally - up and down! But I am, on the whole, a very happy bunny!!

GRRR just typed a reply and lost connection!

Anyway, Grandpa was not unexpected - he was 94 and suffered a series of strokes last week, and decided he wanted to let go.

The hours of the job.......not yet sure - possibly 4 days but may start at 2 days a week. Am quite happy with either. The pay means that if I do 4 days it will just about balance the books and means that the pressure for me is off a bit - It won't go any way towards the ski fund but does mean I can meet my minimum repayments.

If I do 2 days, then it will obviously go a good way towards it but not as much.

I have to be police checked to make sure I am not of the same ilk as my students, and once that is through I can start - hopefully in two or three weeks time!
