Just on to say hi, really, not doing much, just getting by - I'm thinking this isn't a cold, its a virus. Bummer. OTOH, your savings for the skiing have gone up by a couple of hundred since I last looked - its that magic trick again, isn't it? Hope its carrying on well.

I really don't make the most of my opportunties, the way you do........ sigh........ as to the virus, the whole extended family is prone to them......... docs never do anything for them, unless its specific viruses like shingles - they always say there's no anti-viral drugs, keep warm and rest. Thats it. Its very upsetting, especially when we hear the term "anti-viral drugs" bandied about so freely these days. But they don't exist for the type of viruses that just leave you feeling grotty and under the weather, they really don't. Its why I'm not a big fan of Western medicine for long term/chronic conditions. Haven't had one of these for years, tho, I must need to blitz on my health. Or maybe I just need to live somewhere sunny. I know, I'll just walk away! There you go, I'll get a new passport, draw all my money out, and be gone.......... I'll just pick satsumas in Greece, picking season isn't far away. French grape harvest before that. Yeah, I can do that.

Sorry to be down.... I have 4 hours work today (which is good) but I could do with some tlc myself......... drat.

Thanks Imp, I was wondering what to do, I usually list on a Tuesday night for 5 days, but I was prompting at rehearsal and too tired when I got back. So a 10-day listing starting Thursday would suit me.

I'm just going to look for the "what small DF thing..." thread, because I'm slipping without it.


Or I'll be back here cluttering up Hypnos thread.

I got the idea of a 5-day listing starting Tuesday from you OO:T . I've never done 'short' auctions like that before(usually do 7 or 10 days ending Sunday evenings as a rule). Sorry you couldn't get yours started in time but at least with the 10-day ones you get 2 weekends for people to see them.

I can't freecycle my apples because there isn't a local freecycle. I've had to join one in a nearby town. Nobody is going to drive 15 miles for a carrier bag of manky windfalls even for free are they?

Friends are beginning to avoid me because I keep pressing them to take some apples.

I'm going to buy a bottle of economy brandy in Asda tonight and make more apple brandy for Christmas.
