    Morning all!

Well, I was tempted to post at 2am but I was soooo tired I thought it might just come out as akjihkjdhgljsdfluadhahf da so I thought better of it!

Anyway, 2 very excited Hypno offspring, have met some other very excited peeps at Stanstead and have happily set off on their adventure, armed with medicines, letters to doctors, cuddly toys, and the freedom from their parents for the week

DD says she will text me when she arrives but other than that I am going to leave it to them to have a good time, to work hard and to just let me know if the Doc has anything to say!

Today I have a client at 10.30, so plenty of coffee required before then, and then start in the bar at 1pm until 7 I think - a little bit more for the ski pot!

After that it is watch the rugby at the ski club, where we are having a bit of food laid on at half time - is costing a fiver, but generally we bring home all the leftovers (that is where all my free food comes from) so it will doubtless be worth it!!

I have one thing currently listed on ebay to end tomorrow - a CD, with bids up to £3.05 so am very happy with that - I will start getting things together tomorrow for my £100 challenge.....here's hoping!

I hope you all have a good day.....sorry OO that you missed us last night. We missed you too x

  • You sound really upbeat this morning, hypno, despite not having had much sleep. Your offspring's energy and enthusiasm has transmitted itself to you this morning. Your daughter is obviously a chip off the old block:rotfl: . Just takes whatever life throws at her and gets on with it. Here's to all of you for a successful and trouble-free week:beer:

Have elderly people(not even relatives:rolleyes: )staying this weekend(prob until Tuesday night:eek: ) so not much time to organise my eBay stuff. Did find a few bits when emptying the dressing-table drawers in the spare room for the guests but it needs photographing and the listings written so may have to wait until Tuesday or Wed for that. I will get the stuff on eBay sometime during the week though, even if the auctions don't end until next week. If I could make £100 from my tat I'd be over the moon:rotfl:

Have a good one at the skiing club. The free-food is a wonderful bonus considering all the hours you put in there.

    Hi All :)

Glad the kids got off ok Hypno - and that you are sounding so positive :)

Hope that the shift in the bar is good and that you enjoy the rugby tonight.

I just got OH to get down the toys from the loft and there is a huge bin bag full of stuff to sort through now! Not sure how much is saleable though and if anyone will actually buy it...will go through today and tomorrow.

Hi there Imp! I hope you have a good weekend with the old folks! Our student is just about ready to leave for her half term break, so with the children gone as well, our house will seem strangely quiet for a few days. I bet we still can't keep it tidy though, even with just me and OH here :o

And don't fret too much about ebay this weekend, get listing during the week and once you have started, you will get the momentum going and raise loads of lovely dosh!

I have just put on a tiny matched bet - not much but gives me another £8 in the pot when it all goes through.

Hi Sea! I hope you manage to find lots of saleable stuff - I am sure there is probably more in there that is worth putting on ebay than you initially think!

as for the housework challenge, well as I now have a child free house for a week, I really DO want to get on top of the housework and actually have at least SOME of my time spent in a clutter free zone! Name your day for the housework challenge and I will be there (not Monday)!!

Good grief! I can't *believe* what's been happening on this thread in the last 24 hours ... while I was staggering about in London on the main job, trying not to fall asleep with previous week's over-tiredness. At least I got to bed at a reasonable hour - could have joined OO on here, but at least I got some sleep last night. Well, hypno, I *really* hope today is kind to you - and that you have a great time in the evening watching the rugby at the ski club, thats sounds brill. Take care, hypno and all.
