hey hun, big hugs coming your way from hypnoland, but don't want to get too close in case I breathe my nasty cold germs over you.
Chin up, easier said than done, I know but you will at least still know what's what soon, and once you know what is happening, you can start to deal with it. Little comfort, but I don't know what else to say really xx
But keep posting, we are always here for you xxxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Well, morning is here and I am all fired up for the housework challenge.........
yeah, well I am up and awake, if that is any good
Managed to pick up a last minute mystery shop today, not much but a nice easy one and an extra £10 in due course to come my way.
I have an "admin" list of things to do too, like cancel subscriptions for stuff I have taken out through quidco for cashback etc. Hopefully by the end of the day I will have done everything on my list.
But first........the kettle beckons!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Morning,
Well done Hypno on your goal so far...you're doing really well and I wish you all the best.
Is there any chance that I can join in the cleaning challenge today? I've got a day off and need to get motivated as I'd rather just sit here and drink tea.
I need to do the following:
1. Hoover throughout the house
2. Polish absolutely everywhere
3. Tidy beds
4. Clean glass in lounge/dining room
5. Washing to be done
6. Wash up breakfast pots
As for soundtrack, well that's going to have to be Radio 2 as my CD player's broken
What's the plan for the challenge?
Thanks,
Tea

Hi P,
Morning Purpletea!
Of course you can join the challenge - we are only really challenging ourselves, to make sure that we do more than just sit on MSE procrastinating about the amount of work we need to do!
So, really, start when you are ready, although if you commit to a start time, you are more likely to get moving! Then pop back on to see how others are doing, with their lists - you can amend your list as you go along, so it is really just an incentive to get going!!
Those are the rules(!) I think!
Happy housework!
there.......that's me done :rotfl:

Hiya and thanks.
Okay, I will start at 9am, gives me chance to have another cuppa.
Don't need to worry about any kids running about and tripping me up, as they are at the childminders so I can be as ruthless as I want...watch out house - here I come
First...Put kettle onwell I don't want to use too much energy just yet.
Tea

ok ladies some of you have 10 mins left to go ...good luck ..in my last free hour i will be showering having brekfast and if possible nipping up the street for the ingredients for the cake so from 10am-11am i will be (hopefully finished shopping ) stripping the beds and sorting out the washing this may not sound like much and its just a wee warmer (incase i dont get back form the street as well) but i do have a mountain of washing to sort out a clean basket the size of k2 and a dirty basket the size of ben nevis and that's before the bedding goes in ...all the best and catch you all beack here at some point0

Gah, you all sound so full of energy!!
Should I try and motivate myself? Hmmm....?
Have been off over a week and done very little, maintenance "surface" cleaning, so it looks ok if you don't inspect too closely. OH asks each night "What have you done today?" and I think "Errrm...nothing really!"
That's not good!
Should I make myself join you and do something?0
