Take the plunge, El!! You will soon get into the swing of things and make yourself lots of lovely extra money.
Just remember to estimate your postage and packing properly - you don't want to undercharge and be out of pocket, but equally if you set it far too high you will put people off.

Hi KC! I have a small "kitchen garden" plot in my garden. I have herbs - chives, mint, rosemary, parsley and thyme - some strawberries which gave lovely sweet fruit this year, courgettes and fennel (
)
I am hoping to make more of that bit of the garden next year, and will be growing some potatoes (thanks Jamie Oliver for your TV ideas) peppers, garlic and tomatoes. I also have two butternut squash seedlings but I think it is a bit late to plant them out so may bring them on in the conservatory instead.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Thanks P!
I have just ordered another voucher from Pigsback - £10 added to the Christmas present list. These vouchers are ideal presents and I now have £30 for nothing more than clicking!! Woo hoo!!
DD has just called to say she has forgotten her homework diary, and could I take it to school for her. So better get on so that I can get there before I see my client. Happy birthday to young Hyp. (Hip-young Hyp?) hope the day turns out well for him. Many years ago before mine were out of nappies, I read a hint that teenage years are a lot easier for all concerned if the teenager involved has an interest or skill. It helps:
a) to occupy them (preferable to hanging round the station as they do in our town)
and b) gives a much welcome boost to their fragile self esteem as they develop a skill0 -

hi chaps and chapessess (!)
Following on from the amazing support I have had from you lot in the last few days, I pm'd the great man :money: asking if MSE towers had any ink cartridges and he responded by saying if I start a thread he will try and put it in the weekly e-mail. This really is an opportunity I can't afford to miss!
So, despite saying I want to keep things in my diary, I have now started a thread, and want to say thank you for the ideas and the support etc.
Hope no-one minds:o

Hi Hypno, happy birthday to your son.
Good luck with your ink cartridge requests - sounds like it could be a real money spinner. :money:
I've had a manic week - registering new students at work and travelling to another site, trying to keep in touch with OH despite the time differences and sorting stuff out at home - didn't go to bed til 3am but I'm surprisingly not tired now, won't be saying that in a couple of hours I suspect. :rolleyes: Better get on with my work but thought I must have a quick MSE fixInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
