benbenandme, what a lovely idea. Hypno has helped and encouraged so many of us that I'm sure lots of people will want to help out with the ski fund. Perhaps we could all ebay one thing for the fund, I would be happy to do that.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Thats fine Hypno, totally understand your point
its just we all want to see you get there asap !!!
The mini challenge I set you a couple of days ago (£500 by the end of this week) is coming along very nicely!! Your ability to generate money is fabulous and the lessons you'r teaching your kids, to work for something in life, is such a good example to be setting ... you're a Star !!!

Seawxyn thats freaky, I was just thinking what we could do to help, and as most of us on here don't really have much/any spare money I was going to suggest we all find one or two bits and have an ebay challenge, all on the same day, and any proceeds go towards the fund .... so thats you and me in, anyone else fancy joining us???
p.s. Hypno .... all we ask in return is a snowball each when they return :rotfl:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Thanks you guys, I love you all.
Now I have to go to bed.......it is DS's birthday tomorrow, and although he knows he is not getting much in the way of presents, I bet he will still be up at the crack of dawn, and I will likely make him a cooked brekkie fit for a 12 year old!!
Sleep well everyone, and thanks again - you lot are fab xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Forget Ebay-we could have our own car boot thread (no fees) with an item a day for auction. Could have a bit of fun with it tooI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Morning all!
Well, up bright and early in the Hypno Household for DS's birthday. He got a little bit of money that will go towards his new ski boots that we will hopefully buy him after school. I say hopefully because the shop has a range on order but may not have them all in yet - we shall go and see.
Bacon and egg for him for brekkie - he will go to school a happy boy!
I have a busy day before he gets home, with clients. Sadly not all are paying ones - one won a voucher in a raffle that I donated, and one is in return for doing my garden, but on the other hand, my garden is starting to look pretty fab!
Hope you all have a good day xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Hi all
hypno, ignore my pm - hadn't realised that you'd read my edit, just fired it off without thinking.... got us proper confused, I did!
Anyway......... what a lovely turn this thread has taken! You know, its partly because you give so much to the site, but partly for the kids too - how great that tho your debt is so big, they don't suffer, they get a fantastic life, and they learn, all sorts of things. I'm an ebay virgin, but I have a few things I've been meaning to start up with, so would happily (fearfully! lol) get going.
Have a good day - sorry the clients aren't all paying - but that garden? Plan to grow any food in there?? lol2023: the year I get to buy a car0
