Hello Hypno. I'm keeping fingers crossed that your cat will turn up safe and well. We were distraught when our mice disappeared, I can only imagine how much more devastating it is to lose a pet you've known all your life.

Had to chuckle at the 8p noodles. We've been living on noodles here all month - but ours are 9p! Where do you get the 8p ones?

The 8p ones came from sainsburys - I do have to add some more flavouring to make them palatable, but they have made a good staple for the summer holidays when the kids want something other than pasta for a change!!

BTW, P, I do have vodka, but only Tesco blue stripe stuff - one step removed from paint stripper :o but as I generally only use it for marinading cheap meat to make it tender, it doesn't usually matter!

Right, off to bed now, don't want to be asleep for tomorrow's interview. Hopefully the cat will wake me up in the night miowing outside the window - normally I try to ignore her if I am snuggled up, but if I hear her tonight, I will be down those stairs and opening the door like a shot!

Thanks guys for the support - if I get the tutoring then it will be a big change because I will almost certainly be starting the PGCE in September, because I will have teaching hours to back it up. If I don't get it though, I will just try again next year.

I do need to gather my certificates together as I have to provide them as proof that I am qualified in the things that I want to teach, so I need to take some off the wall of my cabin to take with me.

Apart from that, I am hoping to have coffee/tea with Pania this afternoon, and don't have any clients today (after the last couple of days I want a break) as I have clients tomorrow too. The children will have a lazy day, and I will do some matched betting type stuff and see if I can build on the success of earlier in the week! A rolling stone gathering no moss here.....:D

We have an unavoidable expense in that OH has to pay for a couple of fillings today, that will have to go on his credit card, but I hope to be able to make reasonable overpayments next month so hopefully can offset it easily.

The cat still has not turned up, sadly.

I hope you all have a good day, and that you have better weather than we seem to have over here!!
