Thanks hun. I have had a few weeks where I have done very little - I suppose since the football season ended I have only done the free bets offered for the big horse race meetings which only added up to a few quid.

I have thoroughly enjoyed myself this weekend doing it though, so will be happy to get back into it and getting rid of that pesky credit card!

    Enjoy Harry Potter!!

ATB, I have joined the £1000 in 4 months challenge. If I can get rid of that Egg card by the end of the year I will be delighted! Thanks for the pointer.

Actually, as our income has another re-jig from 1st Sept, due to new student, and my part time job, I am doing a new set of budgets and targets for the year beginning 1.9.07. I have made a start and it is quite scary!! I am trying to include as much as I possibly can, including quidco cash, mystery shopping and ebay etc and have targets for everything - talk about getting into this way of life :rotfl:

I will be rid of this debt. I will. I WILL I TELL YOU :D

Hmmm I wish!! Had 8 hours of solid ironing and housework! Fun? whats that? is lovely to have a clean house though? hopefully flylady and catching up on work will help me stay on top of it now, Was having ongoing battle with OH to get him to do anything... so sat him infront of the cricket with a shredder, black bag and whole pile of personal and business paperwork. He spend a very happy afternoon shredding whilst i could feel content he was doing something to help!! ha ha reverse psychology, love it! xx

Trust me you hadn't seen my house!! had to keep the parents away last weekend for fear of reproach! but is done now and new sofas (OH's folks old ones) safely ensconced (sp?) and looking quite nice.
It's too late at night to even consider moving off the sofa so stay exactly wher you are. I know where i'm staying for the rest of the night, yup, the sofa!! sorry i missed out on the breakfast meeting this am, sounded as though you all had a very yummy time! hugsxx

Umm remember I DID see your house this week!! Or did I go visit someone else

    :rotfl:

I know what you mean about keeping people away - the guy who came to collect the computer came to the back door yesterday, and OH let him in through the utility and the kitchen where he then saw the full effect of the dining room before coming to the hall, where I had collated the computer equipment - nicely by the front door, which was the only tidy bit

I was so shocked and shamed, I couldn't even muster enough words for an excuse :o
