Vellum, I always use 24p bars of soap to get up to £10, works every time.

As for what's toiletry and what's beauty, I really don't know because yesterday I purchased Dove cream and assumed both vouchers would be accepted, but only the beauty one was! Will post more about my semi shop from hell in a moment.

can i buy around £20 products (£10 in beauty; £10 in toiletry) and give them all coupons?
or i have to split into 2 transactions?

Right! So yesterday I had a shopping from semi - hell! Urgh

Went to the big massive superstore a few miles away, massive massive queues I could not quite believe it!! (Big queues put me off using lots of vouchers)

No so beautiful booklets, no goody bags, the SA wouldn't accept more than one clothing voucher, with all this in mind, I just got a refund on a pair of trousers and left my trolley, I could not be bothered to put everything back (there were TONS of Dove soap btw!) A lovely worker said no problem and offered to put the items back for me.

    So....... On to my local.

I split my transactions into three shops, asked the SA how many vouchers I could use per transaction, he said as long as I purchased the products, he'd try them all. (I picked up 4 new £2 off £8 shop from the massive Tesco, so all was not lost I suppose)

    First transaction:
    CLOTHING
I *thought* I'd purchased £30 worth of stuff, tried to use:

    £4 off £20 kids clothing - rejected
    £6 off £30 clothing QK - rejected
    £6 off £30 clothing Lilac - accepted
200 point till spit on baby/toddler clothing - accepted, although I purchased school uniform!

I was gutted!!! I said I was going over the customer services after. The customer services lady was lovely and gave me back £10 in cash for the two items!! Only upon close inspection I realised I had only spent £27 since one of the trousers were reduced by £3!!! So how did the lilac voucher work?! Hmmmm, I'm not complaining though! Got £27 worth of clothing for £11 plus 200 points.

    2nd transaction
    TOILETRIES
I purchased some regular shopping and
6 packs of 2 Dove soap BOGOF (didn't have the 4 packs) £3.54 after BOGOF (£7.08 before)
    2 x Radox handwash £1.66 (3.32 before bogof)
    = £10.40 total

Used £2 HB (Sun exp) £2.50 HB, 1 of each £1.25 QK, so total after BOGOF and vouchers: - £2.30 to use off the rest of my shopping! I know I could probably have used another 2 QK, but didn't want to push my luck!

I also purchased huggies nappies with my last £2 voucher, plus 200 points worth of coupons, so was very pleased!

    3rd transaction
    TOILETRIES - PLEASE HELP!
    Purchased:
2x Pro age body cream, which was displayed as £3.54 so £7.08
    2 x Radox bath £1.58 each, so £3.16
    Predicted total was: £10.24

The guy couldn't take as much this time, as my total including shopping only came to £10, so we'd end up near minus figures, HOWEVER, none of the toiletry coupons worked anyway! So used:

£2.50 HB, 2x £1.25 Beauty QK £2 HB (exp sun) = £7.00 so free toiletries, BUT, The Dove cream came up as £4.99!! So I could have just purchased a bar of soap instead.

I'm annoyed because, yeah I know it's free, but I only purchased these thinking they were £3.54!! So really ended up with £13.14 before bogof £6.57 after.

So watch out for the pro range! I'm going to see if it was a misprice, cos if so, I'll be getting the difference back.

So that's that!! I was tempted to walk out of this one as well as the queues were terrible! I think I will go back to online shopping soon.

Anymore toiletries from now on i'm giving to my mum and nan as I'm running out of space! All the radox bath are for my mum anyway as I prefer a shower.

And lasty, the sugar puffs glitch is not working at my local.

    :D

What a monster post! If you've got this far, I congratulate you :rotfl:

    Hi CharleneUK,

Seems like the the Dove ProAge only works with beauty quit, and the toiletries quit didn't scan bacause you didn't have min. £5 worth of toiletries, Radox only came to £3.16 before bogof.
And that the Dove was mispriced.

I have managed to pick up lots of the new £2 off £8 H&B shop - expire end of April.
Can also still get lots of quit packs.

Would anyone be willing to swap for the 50pt coupons - cannot get any of these in this area.

    pm if interested, thank you

thank you everybody, this is the first time i do multiple coupons purchase. i read the whole thread, learn a lot and try to put in practice:

    1st transaction:
    palmolive shower milk @£1.79 x 6 (bogof)
    coupons valued £7
    total -£1.63

    2nd transaction:
    lynx deo @£2.48 (2 for £3.50) x 2
    dove handcream @£2.49 (bogof) x 2
    soap £0.24 x 1
    coupons valued £7.50
    total -£1.27

hehehe so mr.t gave me £2.90 credit, 100 pts and all the above smelly stuffs. :)

feel like learning a new game, very excited very happy. it takes me a long time to work out the maths though, a bit nervous when i was in the shop.

also picked up lots of £2 off vouchers with minimum £8 spend, and a couple of QK.

Looks fine to me....I haven't read all the info on the Dove pro-age but if the Quitkit toiletries £1.25 doesn't work against it (?) then your suggestion is the best saving you can get I think.
