Vanquis limit increase?

I have had my card just over 5 months now and still no sign of an increase. I am wondering if for some people they review it after 6 months?

I have been with Vanquis for over a year now. They started me off with £500. I received a letter saying they were increasing it to £1,500 on the 10th July. I thought great went out and treated myself to something expecting the limit to go up on my card.
The 10th July came no higher limit, So I telephoned the company to be told I had gone over my account by £1.29 , so they would not be increasing my limit until another 6 months .0 -
I've een with them since November 2014, number gone over or missed a payment and had no increase0

Emails couple of days after my 6th statement 04/09/15 advising increase would be on the 07/10/15.
Email received 04/10/15 advising credit limit increased and it was now just need to remember to pay it in full every month0 -
