Better still, complain directly to your lenders and save even more money!
• Hi Everyone,

A first time poster as I too was scammed by these companies - almost identical situation Johnny 9 . And dont be fooled - these are really the same company underneath no matter what they try to tell you on the phone - just very well set up with Companies House so that one is isolated from the other - you just dont find out until its too late. We were contacted by a company called Lifestyle Money on the 4th September regarding PPI - It has been a chance call which just happened on the right day, I was at home instead of at work and had been thinking about looking into PPI. To cut a long story short they did ask for a card to 'hold' against the account but assured me nothing would be physically taken from the account. However the very next day We received the Letter from Lifestyle Money - thanking us for engaging Lifestyle Money Services. However on the same day another company called Lifestyle Claims had taken 2 x £359.98 (£719.96) from my account - We called Lifestyle Money immediately to enquire why this had happened - still not notcing that it wasnt the same company name(just assuming it was) At the same time we did more research on the company and found these forums warning people. We actioned our 14 day cancellation policy with Lifestyle Money and received a letter back confirming that money would be returned within 30 days. Nothing was returned so we chased this at the end of October only to be told on the Phone by Lifestyle Money that Lifestyle Claims was nothing to do with them and in fact the company was in administration! How did Lifestyle Claims a company with no link whatsoever get our credit card details then and why did Lifestyle Money send a letter in response to our cancellation saying that the money would be returned?! We are now embarked on a Fraud complaint with our credit card company - Barclays who are being very helpful but nothing back yet - fingers crossed - We just wanted to let other people know our story. We will also follow the advise of others and contact all the following agencies to report these criminal activities actionfraud.police.uk/report_fraud

• You should inform Barclays that the money is an unauthorised debit and you want your money returned in accordance with FSA rule BCOBS 5.1.11
• just rung the numbers I have for Lifestyle money to chase a refund thats been ongoing since May and been informed that they have gone into administration! I'm chasing £359 and pence. They have said they are sending me an email to advise how to contact the administrators to put a claim in. Not Happy!!!

As you have not received a service from Lifestyle Claims you may have the option of going to your credit card provider and under section 75 you can claim back your money. Make haste exploring this option!
• Lifestyle Money and Lifestyle Claims are two different ltd Companies.

Lifestyle Claims (Client Connection Ltd) is now is administration - thank god

Lifestyle money ( All Debt Solutions Ltd)

Both these companies have the same office address and possibly share some of the same directors, but for qall intent and opursposes they are two different companies.

No - tell the credit card company it is an unauthorised debit and you want the matter corrected or referred to their complaints procedure

That would almost certainly mean going to Court in Swansea.

Things to do.

Firstly, pursue the credit card company because the debit is fraudulent.

The go here and report it as fraud.

Then send the following e-mail to Client Connection Limited with a copy to consumer@claimsregulation.gov.uk , to trading.standards@swansea.gov.uk and to your MP:

FORMAL COMPLAINT OF MISCONDUCT AND FRAUD AGAINST CLIENT CONNECTION LIMITED
FORMAL COMPLAINT OF FRAUD AGAINST RYAN GEORGE STANTON, DIRECTOR, CLIENT CONNECTION LIMITED
FORMAL COMPLAINT OF FRAUD AGAINST GEORGE STANTON, DIRECTOR OF CLIENT CONNECTION LIMITED
FORMAL COMPLAINT OF FRAUD AGAINST THE PERSON CALLING THEMSELF [NAME]

On or about [date] I received a call from [name] who persuaded me that I was entitled to redress in respect of Payment Protection Insurance and asked for the number of my Credit Card.

Shortly afterwards, I found that, without my permission, Client Connection Limited had taken the sum of £[amount] from my credit card without first providing me with written details of the proposed contract, as required by your regulator, the Ministry of Justice.

I accuse Client Connection Limited of deliberately and fraudulently of obtaining my credit card details in order to make an unauthorised debit on my account. I therefore do not consider that it is a fit and proper person to conduct claims management activities or any other form of Business.

I accuse GEORGE STANTON of knowingly allowing this fraud to occur and that therefore consider that he is not a fit and proper person to act as a director of a claims management or any other form of business.

I accuse RYAN GEORGE STANTON of knowingly allowing this fraud to occur and that therefore consider that he is not a fit and proper person to act as a director of a claims management or any other form of business.

I accuse ********* of deliberate fraud by claiming not to know why my money had been taken without my permission.

I DEMAND that my money is returned to me WITH INTEREST AND WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

A copy of this e-mail is being sent to your regulator, the Ministry of Justice and to Swansea Trading Standards.

• This is the name, address and phone number of the administrators. Good luck. Sharma & co, 257 Hagley Road, Birmingham, B16 9NA Tel:01214542700
• I to was duped by this company. they rang me up on 14th December 2011 and were very convincing they even took me through the web site (ministry of justice) to show they were legal. There salesman (Claudio Peregreno)asked how much was on the card and for how long roughly it had been like it then said i would be entitled to at least £2400

They took £295.00 from my credit card. I thought about this during the day and decided to cancel it. After 3 phone calls they would not let me cancel and said wait till I get the pack then make up my mind.

I did not receive the pack till 2weeks later. when I remembered to call them back before the 14day cooling of period there office was not open ( 28 dec).

When the office was open the cooling off period had ended and they would not let me cancel. I had no choice but to join.

What they also neglected to tell me was that the 30% they charged for a successful claim did not include the £295 they had already taken.

4 months passed but no results. I rang them regularly every month. After a while they managed to claim back £150 in un fare bank charges. The next thing I new was they had passed
it to a company called Ultimate law.

They were actually very professional and honest and managed and tild me that the claim was no where near what Lifestyle had quoted . I received £325 from Ultimate Law.

They also told me that lifestyle had gone into administration.
I thought that was the end but the day I received the cheque I had a call from a company called Red Hawk Claims (Swansea).

They are trying to claim 30% of the £325 . I found out that this company has been employed by the Administrators (sharma & co).
Could some one please tell me do they have any legal right to do this as what lifestyle did in the first instance was incorrect ( asking for money up front).

By the way during this period I rang the Ministry of Justice and I would say that they were not very helpful.

If you need informed advice on Lifestyle/Redhawk/Ultimate Law issues I would register at Legal Beagles and post in this forum
