just depends on your needs etc.
E.g. I was looking for an N73 on 12 month contract. At tps and e2save, they had this clearence with 6 months free on £35pm contract. Nowhere had such a good deal with this. Even 3 retentions couldn't offer something like that. OK, the monthly texts wasn't as good as I'd have liked, but can always buy a bolt on if need to.
And at least I could transfer my number accross with these companies. With a lot of deals at the mo, you can't transfer the number (i.e. coolnewmobile and phonebox direct with most of their good deals)...0 -
On 3 for a N73 you get 8 months free and for a N73R you get 10 months free on a 18 month contract0

On 3, you get 8 months half price for the N73, and 10 months half price on the N73R on an 18 month contract.
I'm pretty sure that I said I wanted a 12 month contract. The deal I got was 6 months free (which works out to be 12 months half price on a 12 month contract...
So put that way, three's deals are complete rubbish. Yes, you do get £100 quidco, but I was currently on three, so couldn't do that. They didn't give me anything half decent in the retentions department. I must've given them lots of chances...
Hence, why it was better to go for cpw outlet deals...0 -
Hi!
I've had clearance and non-clearance phones from E2Save and had a clearance phone from a different company who turned out to be an e2save 'front'.
Firstly I've had no probs whatsoever with clearance phones - they look brand new and work fine and have been unlocked :-).
The e2save front company I dealt with disappeared, taking my quidco cashback. The cashback on the phone contract still came from e2save so it wasn't a total disaster. For that reason I would suggest avoiding 'thephonespot'.
I hope that helps

On Tuesday I went for a 12mth O2 deal 400mins and 100txts for £17.50 with thephonespot. The £50 from Quidco has already tracted and delivery was Wed morning. Pretty good really and as long as the cashback is Ok works out just over £13 per month for 12 months (phone is K800i).0

Right, can I just hijack this thread for my own means please? I got a clearance V3 on Virgin from E2Save, and it arrived yesterday. I ordered it inline on Tuesday (20/03/06). Everything is fine thus far. Now, when it comes to claiming cashback what do E2Save regard as 6th month bill? Is it the bill that covers the 6th month after connection (September) or is it the 6th bill that arrives through the post, or is it the bill for the 6th full month (October). As I only signed up on tuesday I haven't received any billing from Virgin yet, but I assume the first bill will be for an incomplete month.
Thanks for any help0 -

I dont know if you have this form but it may help, it says the 1st month claim is the month of purchase (march).

In May, Martin highlighted a £15 a month deal for a Virgin SIM only, I took up this offer via Quidco from "Thephonespot", they offered a £50 cashback for taking up this contract, showed it as pending payment, but then declined the payment. Quidco are now investigating! Has anyone else had the same issue with "Thephonespot", if so, have you manged to win the battle for the £50 and how?
I note that "Thephonespot" now advertise a payment of only £7.50 via Quidco for a SIM only deal, not the orignal £50 that was advertised when I took up the deal.
Any legal Guru's know the position on this?0 -
Normally I would say E2save without a seconds hesitation, but recently they have had real problems with their system - the online system and their staff telling different stories. Stay clear of them and stick with phonespot.
or even better go with onestopphoneshop.0 -

DO i need to fill it out or just send it blank with my bills...
